A really fun show, thanks in great part to Chloe.

Smallville is a great show with superb quality of writing and acting. However it is time for the show to come to a halt. The show was just intended to show previews of the teenage years of Clark Kent, but know too much is happening. The writers are going overboard and they are worsening the show by putting too much emphasis on the life of Lana Lang.

Seriously.....they need to completely re-write Lana's character. O agree with the lady who forwards through all the Lex/Lana crap....oh boy is it true....she whines....he lies....she whines.....he lies.....yada, yada, yada,...lol......seriously.....their relationship is total crap....always forwarding through that stuff.

THEY ARE LOSING ME!!!!!!.
MY SON AND I HAVE WATCHED SMALLVILLE FROM ITS FIRST EPISODE. WE HAD SMALLVILLE WATCH PARTIES. HE WENT OFF TO COLLEGE LAST YEAR AND WE STILL WOULD CALL EACH OTHER AFTER EACH SHOW TO DISCUSS, BUT NOT THIS YEAR. I JUST TURNED OFF "STATIC" HALF WAY THRU. I WOULD RATHER WATCH ST.JOHNS GET BEAT BY 30-POINTS.

REASONS THEY ARE LOSING ME:
(1)TO MANY OF THIS YEARS SHOWS HAVE BEEN ABOUT LANA/LEX. I AM OVER THEM. THEY ARE SUPPORTING CAST, THEY CANNOT CARRY THE SHOW FOR ME. BOTH CHARACTERS COULD DIE-OFF TOMMORROW AND I WOULD THINK "GOOD, MAYBE NOW WE CAN GET BACK TO CLARK AND MOVE ON TO SOMETHING ELSE". EVEN LAST WEEKS PREGANCY WAS BORING. THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS BORDERING ON INSULTING. HONESTLY, I LIKE THE ACTORS, BUT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LANA/LEX NOW IS SOMETHING I WOULD LIKE TO FAST-FORWARD THRU, (YADA-YADA-YADA, SHE WHINES, HE LIES, YADA-YADA-YADA).
(2)THERE SEAMS TO BE MORE COMMERCIAL TIME THAN STORY TIME. THIS IS A SELL-OUT TACTIC THAT ALWAYS BACK-FIRES. VIEWERS DO NOT WATCH THE SHOW FOR THE COMMERCIALS, THE COMMERCIALS ARE SOMETHING WE TOLERATE UNTIL WE CAN GET BACK TO THE SHOW, AND WHEN THERE ARE TO MANY COMMERCIALS THE RHYTHM OF THE SHOW IS LOST AND SO IS THE ATTENTION OF THE VIEWERS.

WELL, THATS ENOUGH. I FEEL SOMEWHAT BETTER NOW THAT I HAVE PURGED, BUT I AM ALSO UNHAPPY BECAUSE I BET ONE OPINON FROM ONE VIEWER PROBABLY WON'T CHANGE A THING, WHICH MEANS THEY PROBABLY STILL HAVE LOST ME. I HOPE NOT.

I am not sure if anyone will read this, but i hope that it is read and taken into consideration. I was very disappointed when in last week's Smallville episode, Lana and Lex both take off their clothes. That is not nessasary to show that on the t.v.. Everyone who has watched Smallville recently would know that Lana and Lex are together, so there is no reason to show that. Now i am not against Smallville. I love it. It is my favorite show. I have four seasons and am soon going to get the 5th, but i do not like to watch the characters get undressed on television. i know that that may be just for publicity so that the show can get more viewers. but that is still not nessasary. Please try and do something about this problem. I would be very grateful!

The quality of stories varies from average to good. The character of Lana Lane's a bit soft and goody two shoes but then again Kristin Kreuk is one hot little honey, if not the most gorgeous female Ive ever seen on TV. So, 5 stars for her then.

Smallville has to be one of the best shows at the moment. Can't wait till season 6 starts, partly because season 5 was great. Smallville would be doing a lot better if it had more marketing going on, or on a better network.

Tom Welling is hott in this. I prefer the original Superman though.

I like this show a lot and I really, really love the new season. I want to see Clark become Superman. It keeps me watching and anticipating the next episode. I actual did not start watching Smallville until I saw that they were introducing Lois. Since then, I've been watching reruns to see everything I missed. With that said, there are some things that really annoy me. For instance, Chloe and Lois. What the HELL are they doing with those characters? I am really frustrated because I desperately want Chloe to somehow turn into Lois. She is a GREAT character and just keeps getting better and prettier. But then we have the actual Lois character. Lois is okay but I really don't understand why she was introduced in the first place. There just doesn't seem to be much chemistry between Clark and Lois even though they tried to create the whole hate turns to love tension thing with them. It was really forced and I didn't/don't buy it. Also, Clark and Lana are the worst kissers on television. Has anyone noticed that? In their efforts to not use tongue, they just look stupid kissing. You know when you put fish food in a fish tank and the fish pucker up to try to grab the food? That's exactly what they look like. It's somewhat disturbing. Anyway, the show is overall very entertaining and worth watching if only to find out what bizzare twists and extreme liberties they are going to take with the Superman story each week.

OMG!!! Clark is the sexiest man alive!!! Tom Welling is a God!!! Lex Luthor is a hot piece too, with his sexy bald ass!!! This show rocks, and I hope it goes on forever!!!

Fun show to watch but its not a good one for people who just watch casually because if you miss an episode or two you'll be completely lost, which is the problem I am currently having. Tom Welling is extremely good looking and plays the part of Clark well. I like how the writers sneak in little hints for the future (like the giant S scar that appeared on Clarks chest in one episode)

What the heck does witches and vamps have to do with a sci fi show about an Alien? Nothing! If Smallville keeps this up they will be losing a lot of viewers.

Smallville was a lot more interesting when Adam Knight (Ian Somerhalder) was guest-starring. I personally don't find the show very entertaining but the first episode I ever saw had Adam on it and I was drawn toward the show...however, they HAD to kill him, didn't they???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved the show at first, but now I'm just out of it. It's alright, but Lana is way too dramatic and I frankly prefer Chloe and even Lois to Lana. It's just so... bleh now...

Ok I like this show although some of it annoys me to no end. Like for example. You come into the show and Clark is fighting some criminal or whatever and his dad is always perpetually telling him to keep on the low, which I find very unfair and then Clark finally *with 10 minutes left to the show* conquers evil and then all of a sudden the show turns into this clark-lana-soap opera. I mean come ON. Here we just got done having all these special effects that look so cool then the lana junk. Talk about boring. I mean isn't there a way they could work that little soap opera plot into the show without it looking like it was just tacked on as a 2nd or possibly 3rd thought?

Best show on TV. Geniusly written, big movie quality every week. These critics have poor taste and should develop a personality.

Anachronistic and wrong.

I used to not care about superheros. This show made Superman my absolute favorite superhero. This is one of the best tv shows ever!

Smallville Seasons 1 through the 6th episode of Season 3 was the absolute best show on television. Then they shifted the focus away from the heart of the show (Clark and Lana) and the ratings have taken a big hit and the episode qualities are poor. Bring back the Clark/Lana relationship and maybe they can get this show on the right track again.

The best show on tv hands down.. Smallville is the best Superman show to ever hit the air waves. Lois and clark? Give me a break. Smallville blow it out of the water. They (WB) should wait till the show ends to transition into the next Superman movie using the cast from Smallville.

Great Ideas, great acting with a great name: SUPERMAN !

This show was good when it focuses on Clark and his relationship with Lex and his parents. Its the heart of the show. The only weakness it has is the relationship between Clark and Lana, I understood why they didn't work in season one when hug aired and don't understand why they are prolonging this storyline. It should have ended with Clark moving on to the Lois protype in Chloe.

The show brings a lot to the WB...I think that it is a good family show, I wouldn't have a problem with my kids watching it and it is very entertaining.

i love it!! I think the superman when his olda is relly pants, but i think smallville is ace. The story lines are great and it always keeps me interestd.

Can't get enough of this show. It's fresh to our screens and brings us and all new kid of teen drama. Action sequense's and drama. The best thing is you dont have to be a fan of superman!

Tom Welling as Clark Kent and Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang are oh so boring, both in their acting and their so-called romance Ive seen rocks with more chemistry than these two. The only reason to watch this show is to see Michael Rosenbaum outshine them all as Lex Luthor. This is a guy who can actually act! And dont even get me started on some of the storylines, because it seems that no matter how much happens with Clark and his powers, Lana just cant seem to get a clue. Even after the episode Red she was still clueless, for heavens sake!

Great story, special effects... Did i mention how great the storyline is. THe way all the charcters tie in and their relations is a total masterpiece. I especially enjoy the Lex/Lionel story side.

I cant believe people are finding this show bad?!?!?! HELLO! its great, the stories are great, the acting is great, i think the people picked for the roles were perfect. They all do great in their character, Lex is played brilliantly.... if it were up to me id want this show to go on forever, theres so many ways it can go before it leads to superman!!! smallville is one hell of a show best Ive seen.To show superman grow up and all the problems he had is a great idea.As for clark and lex being freinds was brilliant.When i first heard about the show I thought that sounds crazy but after watching one of the eposides I was hooked.My veiw of the show is it is gonna be around for years to come and thats just fine by me.

A show so bad it makes the new adventures of superman look like a masterpiece. I wouldnt become a fan of this show if you paid me all the money in the world.

The first season was some of the best drama tv I had seen in a long time...with the exception of Charmed of course. HOWEVER, the show is slowly starting to go down hill as the writers and everyone else keep the show so confusing for regular network television. They always have way too many things going on and some of the story lines are just totally out of control with stupidity that I am no longer watching, and I am sure I am not the only one. It is unfortunate however, as the cast of this show is superb...alot of talent going on there...

A great show. My criticisms are that it always seems dark and that Clark and Lana need to get back together. They are such an awesome couple. The acting can improve a bit as well. The best episode of Smallville was the one in 1961. It was very sexy and sweet. Gotta watch it.

I like it. The story has gotten a little off center recently. I don't know where the story is going, and recently I'm less inclined to keep watching. Maybe the writers don't know where they're going? Maybe the foreshadowing is a little too vague? Are te writers all trying to go in different directions? I don't know what is wrong, but whatever it is it's obvious to the viewers. Still, a really good show all in all.

I am a huge Superman fan and this is one of the best and most clever tellings of the whole Clark Kent/Superman myth. I've watched Smallville since the beginning and never miss an episode. Tom Welling is great as Clark, but the real stand out is Michael Rosenbaum as Lex. He is fantastic.

Excellent show, but they need to add a muscular villian like Frank Sepe (Mr. Metrix) to beat the crap out of Clark.

Wouldn't miss Smallville for anything!
