Of all the Law and Orders this is by far the best and the only one I watch. The cast is great and the writting is way above par. The subject matter can be a little disturbing but hey this stuff is going on every day.

I don't like this as well as the original. I don't think it can ever be as good with the ridiculously untalented Ice-T as one of the leads.

The best of The Law And Order series. Well written and a very good ensemble cast. Very gritty subject matter and definitely not for kids.

I prefer SVU over the original Law and Order, primarily because I think the cast is better. They are a lot more watchable, and really make SVU a great cop show.
