This is, of course, one of those classic TZ episodes.

I love doing searches for stuff like this on the internet when I have the time and happened across this one. I couldn't remember the episode so I watched it again. Here's a link if anyone else would like to see it. http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?ei=UTF-8&gid=122362&vid=233027&b=82 I thought it was good although I could tell a few minutes into the program what the end would be. :)

This is one of the first Twilight Zone episodes I ever saw and what convinced me to watch more. Was part of a Twilight Zone marathon.

Greatest half hour of television ever broadcast. Yes, you can pretty much guess the conclusion a couple minutes in as it's pretty obvious they're hiding the hospital employee's faces for a reason, but that still doesn't take away anything from this episode. They managed to portray a wide range of human emotions in this one. I read somewhere that somebody was surprised this episode wasn't banned by today's looks-is-everything society, I can see what they were talking about.

Pretty good episode because of the suspense built up in what the deal was with this woman and the hidden identities of the hospital employees.

Ellymae Clampett and Virgil from McHale's Navy were well cast as the ugly people who didn't fit in.

a 4.5. I like how this one plays on ones assumption. a woman is in for plastic surgery to correct her hideous appearance they do not show the faces of the doctors and nurses or the woman having surgery until the end. for a good part of the show we hear how this poor woman has had many operations to correct this awful face of hers and how this is her last chance. the end has it' definite O' Henry type conclusion. pretty well done show on how beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

The plot is nothing special, in fact it's final twist is telegraphed about five minutes in, but the script, acting and direction is first rate. One of the best episodes of the series.

This one chilled me to the bone the first time I saw it - a real thriller. And even if you're watching it for the tenth time, it's still a riveting experience. Surprisingly, the main star is Donna Douglas, long before she was famous.

Pretty good story. But the O. Henry twist was way too obvious.
