 | Automatt (29) 04/07/2008 | Why is this still on the list? Shouldn't things that RIA has added be moved to a different list?

 | ILikePie (49) 03/06/2008 | The site would have grown very, very stale without it. A magnificent addition.

 | Snoopy (3) 08/12/2003 | I like this new feature. It's fun to see some of the stuff that people are coming up with. However, someone mentioned to me that RIA is going to start charging people for using this feature. I hope this is not true. I like this site because it is free and if RIA starts charging people, then I'll have no choice but to leave forever and I'm sure other people will leave too.

 | kamylienne (77) 07/19/2003 | Well, so far, I've got to admit, it's not bad. It's actually kind of fun to see what other people want to rate. I can see where it can get out-of-hand, but I can't complain about the results right now. Thanks to everyone who contributed their lists.

 | ErictheFederalist (3) 07/19/2003 | Thanks for adding this brilliant feature RateItAll.com! :D I've already created my first personalized rating list and more are up to come... ;)

 | LoneUSFullHouseFan (3) 07/20/2002 | I have a few things that I think deserve to be on here. I have been trying to get my lists on here for months now.

 | CastleBee (81) 01/10/2002 | No, not good at all. I can just imagine some of the topics and feel pretty sure we are talking about a recipe to bring down the overall credibility and quality of the site. One person here already mentioned things like "teachers in their high school" - oh, THAT would have a broad appeal now wouldn't it? We should still be able to suggest things, but these suggestions should definitely be screened by the RIA staff for relevance and appeal before their debut on the site.

 | TheFreak (3) 09/18/2001 | Definitely! And make it easy, too. I know of several things on this page that I would just love to rate, but they are not on the page, and sometimes I just don't feel like sending Rateitall messages. I've asked for Bonnie Tyler to be added enough times, and I get zero response. The only things I wanted Rateitall to add that they added were Harry Chapin and a couple of Web site links! I would like to be able to create a new list by myself! Do it, Rateitall!

 | abichara (60) 09/07/2001 | I do not believe that adding the ability for users to create their own ratings lists is very necessary at all. Firstly, you can make suggestions to Rate-It-All about new lists or individual items that can be added to the site. Also, more than likely an item may repeat on an individual users list; it would quite redundant to be having to rate the same item 10 times over! It sounds neat to have this function on the surface, but it really is not too necessary considering how attentive Rate-It-All is to the users.

 | koolsax (0) 03/18/2001 | This would be great. If you had a page where a user could log on and see what all the things they rated many people including me would be a lot happier with the site. Please do this!!!

 | PoorOldEdgarDerby (4) 10/31/2000 | I don't know if I'd bother with personal lists in the sense that they create their own list of things to rate that may not be on the site already but maybe let people gather together a list of their favorite comments or something along those lines. Besides if people created their own lists of things that aren't in rateitall's database how would you find them other than by stumbling upon their user page?

 | magellan (153) 10/30/2000 | I think this would be a neat feature, but not critical for what I would want to do at this site. I would worry that this would result in thousands and thousands of lists with little to no data in them.

 | Govinda (0) 10/30/2000 | A great idea. That way, people who want to rate things with very targeted appeal (e.g., specific episodes of "The X-Files," teachers in their high school, etc.) will have an easy way to share opinions. I'll bet the RateItAll community can come up with some pretty interesting, helpful, and entertaining lists...
