this is not real bbq. it is not worth 4.00 and meandmyare family from memphis we know bbq.

The Rendezvous had very good food, and the waitress was great. She was very friendly and attentive.

Only been here once. the ribs I had must have been from the day before. They had a slight rancid taste. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try once more due to their extreme popularity.

I'm a Kansas Citian and I love KC barbecue but Rendezvous' ribs are THE BEST!!

The ribs were dry,the service stunk and the food was way overpriced. If you want real BBQ go to Neelys or Corkys.I drove all the way from Indiana to try some great BBQ and Rendezvous was by far the most dissappointing.

What a place to enjoy great barbeque. I've been going there for over 45 years and love it everytime I go back. It's got to be good since it's in a basement in an alley.

Without a doubt, my favorite BBQ eatery. I LOVE their dry rub ribs. However, if you crave ribs dripping in sauce, Bryant's in Kansas City (Jimmy Carter's favorite) is a great place for BBQ. Ribs, corn and Wonder Bread.

This is horrific food served in an alley in Memphis

The Rendezvous is generally considered to be the best barbeque in Memphis, and I would have to agree. I went to a Memphis Redbirds game with my dad, whose company had bought us box seats. The Rendezvous catered ribs and sandwiches. The food was not incredibly fresh, but the flavor was not lost. The ribs were some of the most tender I had ever had and the BBQ sandwiches were piled high with coleslaw. Great BBQ beans as well. As I have never been to the restaraunt, I wouldn't know about pricing, but overall, the food was great experience.
