Now that they won a World Series, why not? You can only make so much money though.

I have mixed views of hypothetically owning this team, especially since I don't live there anymore. For one thing, I don't think I'd like to be besieged by hordes of family, friends, and the type of jackasses you DIDN'T like in high school (and they didn't like you either) suddenly getting very friendly in the hope for free tickets. Plus, I don't think my idea for a 250 foot statue of one of my childhood favorites, George "The Boomer" Scott, looming up behind the Monster would go over too well with the safety commisioner and the zoning commission...
On an unrelated note, I don't know the reviewer below me, but who the hell would name themselves after the most godawful Star Wars character of all time?

I'm a diehard Yankee fan. Eh, message to Red Sox fans: Just cuz you won in 2004 don't mean a thing. We gotta new slogan for ya: Twenty-six to 6! Top Dat!

I think owning the redsox would be exteremly difficult although they are my a favorite team out of any sport. The money would be good. I would love to be the boss of Nomar, Manny, Pedro, etc. but the job woulb be exteremly tough and I don't think my business skills are enough to own such a huge Franchise, with such high expectations.

As a fan, I have lived and died with this team since 1967. But own them? I think I'd have a coronary during my first season. I'd rather open a vein.
