Blow it out your ass, George! Take the Hare Krishna crap with you as well! "My Sweet Lord", what is this an airport lobby singalong? "Something"....eeeecchhh! Sentimental hogwash for the Tony Bennett set. Let's see how self-indulgent we can get and put out this three album set of whiny, introspective drivel so that the soon to be post-hippies that are soon going to become IBM employees can sit around cross legged on the floor and talk about spiritualism or something while smoking hashish. What a bunch of total crapola! The third "jam out" record sounds like a bunch of stoned out garage racket and grates on the nerves. GONG! GONG! GONG! (one for each disc).

You know, George was always kinda hidden behind the Lennon / McCartney songwriting. He usually had his one or two songs per album, which were just as good (if not better) than some they wrote. George proved himself substantially on 'Abbey Road', when he wrote two of the Beatles most popular songs: 'Here Comes The Sun', and 'Something'. When the Beatles broke up, Harrison set out to prove that he was more than just a one song per album Beatle, and 'All Things Must Pass' is his shining light. It's a good album, three discs long, even though uneven and sloppy at times. There are several highlights, and there are several not so good tunes. The third 'jam' disc is worthless and shouldn't have been included. All in all, it's a moment in Rock history that shouldn't be ignored. It's well worth the price.

After reading the reviews of others about this album, the only thing I can say is "Thank you George for some of the most beautiful and inspiring music made".

The best George Harrison album ever IMO. It includes the hits 'My Sweet Lord', 'If Not For You', 'Isn't It A Pity' and the title track.

Like the previous reviewer said, possibly the greatest solo Beatle album. Almost every track is great on this triple album: two of songs, one of jams. My favorites are "Isn't It A Pity," "The Art of Dying," "Beware of Darkness," and "Wah-Wah." I could do without the album of George just jamming with his pals, but it's still a great album. Contains the hits "My Sweet Lord" and "What Is Life?" as well.

Perhaps the greatest solo Beatle album of all time- no wonder most of these songs were written when GH was still with the Beatles.

In my opinion the greatest solo album of the Fab Four. My Sweet Lord, What is Life, Wahwah, Isn't it a Pity, All Things Must Pass, Let it Roll---all timeless classics. The jam session that closes the album is a bit much but it certainly does not take away from the magic of this record.

I won't deny Paul McCartney's success or the power of John Lennon's solo work (especially the Imagine album) but George made the most beatuiful music as a solo artist. For Paul it was a business, for John it was a political platform, but this album and all of his other work prove George was all about the music.

This was the first album by a former Beatle that had great and far-reaching success. It shows the amazing evolution of George Harrison. The songs are very spiriutal and personal. The title of the album is so appropriate to sort of comfort fans that the Beatles WERE the greatest group to ever live, but "all things must pass" and good times are still to come. The major hit and my favorite song off of the album is "My Sweet Lord."

If you think George Harrison is simply "Got My Mind Set on You" you REALLY need to listen to this. It will surprise you, it will overwhelm you. A must have...even if you're not a Beatles fan.

I don't understand why this is so low in the ratings. It's a beautiful album. Listen to it with an open mind, heart, soul. Hare Krishna.

Now I know why Harrison was only allowed 2 songs per album. The rest of his songs are drab! This collection has one or two good songs. "Isn't It A Pity" is a good but too long.

A watershed for a talented musician, who had been kept in the background for years by the Lennon/McCartney team. A three record set as a first album shows what ideas had been bottled up for years. A rich musical exploration that does not fail to stir up almost every emotion. Wonderful art.
