While it took away a lot of our credibility with the Iraqi people, the damage domestically for Bush was only temporary. They did a good job with damage control here, but I don't think it changed many minds on the validity of the war.

Well, this *should* have been damaging to the Bush admin, but I am not sure it was on a large scale.
