 | Sundiszno (32) 07/24/2004 | I've heard a several versions as to how the hamburger got it's name; most seem to center around the (supposed) fact that they were first made by someone who originally was from Hamburg, Germany, or somehow or other was connected with Hamburg. Here in Pennsylvania, sometimes they do make burgers with ham, believe it or not.
