It would suck but I am not too afraid that they will crash.

They say you're more likely to die in a bus crash over a plane crash but I'll take my chances with the bus.

I've heard horror stories of near crashes and that has instilled in me a slight fear of flying.

I saw a helicopter go down one time and I'd never want to expirience that...

They are horrible to watch and must be ten times worst to be in one. I knew some one who was in a airline crash but she would never talk about it.

i've been traveling on planes since i was 4 and i flew from salt lake city to san francisco by myself. i remember every minute of it. the flight attendants have the credit for making it a fun thing instead of scary. they were very attentive and they sat me with a teenage girl who kept me company. it was great and i've never been afraid to fly. i did fly through a lightning storm over reno once that caused some turbulence but i wasn't afraid just a little uncomfortable.

I'm not that afraid of being involved in a plane crash - statistically, the odds are pretty low, although I will admit that just about every time I fly there is that little nagging thought in the back of my head that this time I might be pushing my luck. I don't fly as much as I used to, but still...

I don't fly much, and I actually enjoy it when I do.Of course,no one wants to think about crashing-but it's more likely to happen to you in a car.

After the tragic events of Sept. 11, most people are somewhat scared to fly on a plane. I think about it more than I did before the events. It would be awful to be in a plane crash, but I'm not necessarily afraid of it because the odds of getting into one is unlikely. I have heard that someone is more likely to be struck by lightning in their lifetime than be involved in a plane crash.

Having flown several times, I can say I have no fear of being in a plane crash. Which isn't to say that I want to be in one. But heck, I drive a car, and that's a LOT scarier to me.

I fly a lot so I've grown used to planes as well as accepting the risks that come with being on one. If the plane crashes, then I honestly would rather die quickly then spend hours (possibly days) wandering in the Atlantic Ocean with God knows what type of animals. It's still important to remember, though, that airplane crashes are still quite rare.

Heck yes. When it crashes, just imagine someone you know gets burned and screams in horror and then dies. That's something you don't want to encounter.

I try to avoid flying as much as possible. If I'm driving on the highway, and I see someone coming straight at me, I can at least try to get out of the way. I don't have that option when I'm flying because I am not the pilot. I've heard that flying is safer now because of greater security, but I am not at all eager to hop on a plane.

this would have to be one of the most horrible ways to die. hurtling towards the earth knowing that once the plane hits the ground your body and the aircraft will be obliterated. the worst part is actually having time to think about your demise as the plane gets closer and closer to the ground.

Not really, plane crashes are actually very rare. But if you happen to get involved in one, the odds of you surviving are fairly low because of the hard impact. But it's nothing to fear, many people don't fly because of this. If it's your time it's your time. You have to live.

I hope that I never die in a plan crash.
