I like living in the Outer Richmond. Parking is a ton easier and we're walking distance to either Baker Beach or Ocean Beach. There's tons of good restaurants on Geary and lots of cool little shops on Clement too. I wish it wasn't so hard to get a cab to go out here though. That can be a pain.

Some hidden treasures out there actually. The Balboa theater still offers double features (yes, two movies for the price of one for those of you too young to remember) and has great parking. An excellent coffee house right across the street. Some excellent Chinese restaraunts, and the Mandalay, one of the best restaraunts in the city. Plus, you've got Ocean Beach. My 4 year old was ecstatic recently when he found an intack sand dollar.

Welcome to Siberia. It is a 30 minute drive to just about anywhere in the City. The weather sucks. The neighborhoods have no charm. On the plus side, real estate is more reasonably priced here than most other areas (too bad that this is because it is one of the less attractive areas to live).
