Has some clever bits (having the opening portion of the episode play out like a silent film, obviously in deference to the great Buster Keaton, was an inspired idea, I thought), and some wonderful actors, including the legendary Keaton, the accomplished character actor Stanley Adams (who sadly ended up committing suicide), James Flavin (who probably played a cop in every movie and TV show he ever appeared in), and Jesse White, preparing himself for the lonely Maytag repairman part that sort of became his alter-ego. I can't really add anything more to the reviews below. When "Twilight Zone" veered from its usual formula and tried light-hearted, comedic whimsy, it very seldom, if ever, worked, and it really doesn't here, although this isn't the worst episode they ever did. Thanks to the cast, it's at least painlessly watchable.

The first part of this episode features virtually no dialogue, yet manages to have several hilarious moments in it, thanks to Buster Keaton's performance. I always think it's brilliance when somebody can put on a great show without talking. One of the better comedy efforts in the Zone.

Worth watching for Buster Keaton's performance, but not for much else. When the Twilight Zone creators tried comedy they were better at the understated witty variety rather than slapstick. This episode generally doesn't work.

Maybe a 3.5 not a great episode. It is fun watching Buster keaton. it starts in the 1890s he is digruntled by the outrageous prices at stores and other going ons. he gets a time travel hat and is ends up in the 1960s.He finds he does not like the 1960s and wants to return to his own time. However the time hat is damaged and he has a very short time to get it repaired. he finds someone to fix it but it turns out the man wants it for his own. just as the repair guy is transported, keatons character holds on to him and they both go back to 1890s. Keaton is thrilled the other guy hates it so Keaton sends him back to the 1960s. fun part of show is the 1890s part is in silent movie form. Has some humerous parts. one of the few humerous Twilight Zones.
