They are beyond terrible! I made a move with them back in August 2008 and actually, that was a good move so we decided to go with them again this summer when we moved a second time. The two guys that came to the door were worried because their sheet had said that it was a four family house which was stupid since I told the girl on the phone it was just a 2 bedroom apartment in a 4 family building and I had told the girl that a lot of the furniture we had during that 2008 move had been sold so we had less to move this time. Things were moving along fine until the guys started moving stuff out of the basement and told my mother that they wouldn't be able to take everything. We panicked and I asked, how much can you take and I'm thinking of what I can fit into my car ? I drive a Toyota Corolla. When the guys walked away, my mother and I started wondering aloud, if they thought that we lived in a 4 bedroom house, how were they planning on getting all of the furniture onto their truck if they thought it was more? My mother went outside and saw that they had plenty of room on their truck and she started yelling at them. None of the furniture had been wrapped and they were just being plain sloppy. I was sick since I was the one paying for the move, I didn't know what to do. But because my mom yelled at them, which she was so justified for, it seemed like we really paid for it when they arrived at our new place. Because the guys seemed to be sincerely apologetic and looked scared, we did stupidly take pity on them and chalked it up to them being kids. Our apartment took about 2 hours to empty out, and the ride was only 2 to 3 miles farther north. Even though the place was an upper, we expected it might take some time. It took them about 4 hours to move everything!!!! and to make matters worse, they couldn't get our box springs or couch up the stairs, we had them store them in the garage for the time being. Our landlord told us that they could have gotten our box springs up through the balcony we have, so we called Two Dumbies and a Truck that Monday and asked them what to do. They offered to send 3 men to do it, BUT! it would cost me another $130. It took them about 20 minutes to do it. After all was said and done, we started noticing how damaged some of the furniture was. When the guys moved us, we had them store a lot of it in the dining room because they couldn't get anything straight so we started telling them "dining room," even though all of our furniture was marked and we went through which room was which. it took us about a week to go through some of this stuff and I made another call to a manager there who took his sweet time calling me back. When I read him the riot act about how ridiculous and incompetent this move turned out to be, he started yelling at me and telling me that he didn't have to take my call. He was doing me a favor to which I respond with a few curse words before I hung up. I tried throwing the charge into dispute but when all was said and done, I didn't play my cards right. I got bad movers that I should have kept a closer eye on and should have checked my furniture out better. We've had several people tell us that there was no excuse that they couldn't get that furniture up the stairs. When I moved from a 2 story 3 bedroom house that was eight miles away and only cost me $565, I got to question why a 2 bedroom apartment with less furniture and 2 to 3 milies away would cost me $730. THERE SHOULD BE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST TWO MEN AND A TRUCK! THEY'RE EXTORTIONISTS!!!!

We had them move our large items only. It took them less than an hour from door to door. Half way through the move, they wanted us to sign a contract saying it took them 3 hours to move us. We were told originally that there was no minimum time for moving. When I called the supervisor, he said he would hold our items hostage until we paid. Stay FAR away from this company.

Unbelievable- worst day of my life courtesy of this company, without comparison. Shortly after arriving, the movers requested "shots" of the whiskey they saw my fiancee packing, and talked openly about using marijuana. They took a fifteen minute break that turned into, literally, 4 hours. They lied to us for several hours and were always "on their way" to the new apartment. The movers left our home unlocked with some furniture outside and the rest stacked in an absolute mess in the living room. They never did come to the new apartment and we are scrambling to find new movers, with no time. Never, never, never call this company.

In 2005 I used Two Men and a Truck in Madison, Wisconsin to move. I had a great expierence during that move and in October 2009 I decided to use Two Men and a Truck from Burnsville, MN for a inter-city move. The expierence was completely the opposite. (It should be noted that my wife and I have made several moves over the past couple of years so we knew approximately how long it took to load / unload our belongings.)Two Men and a Truck arrived on site within the pre-determined time period and the crew was cordial and polite. The problem arrived when they took the round about way to move our belongings to the lower level. They were also moving extremely slow (they either did not have sweat glands or they weren't working). It seemed as if they had been out late the night before and then had to face the music Saturday morning. Since they bill by the hour, my wife and I began to panic and started moving things ourselves to our own vechicles (at least what we could lift). When we called the company to complain and ask for a 1 hour refund they said tough luck. It is a you said / we said situation and it appears the "we said" is always right. My advice if you decide to go with this crappy company is to intervene if things aren't working they way you expect them to. Stop the movers and call the company and request new movers. We did not do that and we regret it since the company (at least in Burnsville, MN) takes no accountability for their staff.

I did my homework when it came time to select a moving company to move me across the country. I would never have used this company for any reason based on NUMEROUS complaints all over the internet. A company doesn't get a reputation like this for no reason.Well, after eliminating three companies with horrible reviews, I chose what I thought was another reputable company with many glowing reviews. But guess who they subcontracted the job out to? You guessed it, Two Men and a Truck. My contract stated everything would be blanket wrapped and it wasn't. Even though I didn't move everything on my inventory, it somehow got inflated to almost 1500 lbs. more than the original estimate. A one bedroom apartment? NO WAY.The icing on the cake is when they delivered my furniture and I kid you not almost EVERY SINGLE PIECE was damaged. Why? Because of how it was tossed and thrown onto the truck. And I am not exaggerating it was literally thrown onto the truck and I have video and photos to prove it.I could rehash the entire move but trust me it is the same crap you are reading in every other review. They do not wrap or protect your furniture, they do not care, and they are liars. Does management not train these people to wrap furniture? Do they not read their own reviews online? Or do they just not care. The real problem is that they get you to pay for everything in cash and there is no way to dispute it once it is paid for. They overbill your weight, but if they have to pay you for damages based on that weight of course they estimate the weight at next to nothing. There is no way to recover from this move. The piddly "damages" I am being awarded will not even cover the cost of re-upholstering a chair they ripped and that is one of over a dozen pieces of furniture that was either ripped, stained or damaged. It is obnoxious how this company operates and trust me when I tell you if you use this mover after reading these complaints you have no one but yourself to blame. The moving industry is ripping people off and violating them left and right and they have the law on their side. If you get burned by a mover there is essentially no recourse. It's a shame we can't file a class action lawsuit or put these people out of business once and for all.

i used 2 men and a truck in pgh and have to say i disagree with these reviews! my movers were friendly, polite, and really hardworking. it was a hot day and they didnt slow down or complain about the heat at all. theyre reasonably priced and such a value considering their knowledge and work ethic. i looooved them and will definitley be a repeat customer

I moved with Two Men and a Truck in Dallas, GA. and it was a great move. The movers were very professional and took very good care of my things. The office staff was very helpful and gave me good tips on moving. I would recommend this Two Men and a Truck to everyone !!

I used Two Men And A Truck on 02-04-09. I am writing this review because I was SO impressed with my move from Tampa, FL to New Port Richey, FL. First of all I was provided an estimate for my move to take 8 hours. The move was finished in 6 hours!! They saved me over $200.Also, the two movers were absolutely INCREDIBLE!! They did everything that I asked them to and did not complain once. They were clean-cut, courteous, and very professional. My company my be transferring me to Atlanta next year. I will definitely call Two Men And A Truck again!! Hopefully the same to men will still be there.......

I would like to take a moment to respond to swintms's complaint. I am the "Nick" in the complaint. Before I respond, I would like to say that no offense is taken by reporting your complaints. It is a perfectly acceptable accountability for companies doing business. I say that so it is understood that this is not an angry response, just a different view on the situation. 500lb 7ftx7ft Wall unit. This note is copied out of our software and pasted into this response. This is a point of disagreement with our customer. We worked with husband and wife on this move. Wife booked the move and we state that we were told what our CSR typed into the file. Husband is who I spoke to about the situation feels strongly that we were told 1000 lbs up front. Our CSRs do not make up information; they understand how critical accurate information is. We have an 800lb limit on what we would move and they know that we would not move an item that heavy. Additionally our movers were told that it took 10 men to load the piece, but our office staff was not told about the 10 men. Yes we were warned it was heavy, but not informed that 10 men loaded it. When a move is booked the same day that the move is done, we do not always have the ability to look at the piece before we move it. It would have been nice to be able to this day, but we just didnt have Charles available to go look at the piece. When our men arrived and realized it couldnt be put on a dolly because it was too tall and needed to be picked up and tilted, they called Charles our QC manager to assess the situation. Charles reported to me that we needed more men to move the piece and that is when I spoke to the husband. I did in fact give 2 options. 1 was for us to send additional men which do cost more, $37/hr for each additional man. I dispute that I said they would pay while we wait for the other crew. We would have been on down time until the other crew arrives. My position was that with an item this big we can not offer a cut rate due to the liability for injury. Understanding that it was a lot of money, also offered a complete refund of his deposit. No demand for a refund was needed. That was my offer, not a request by our customer. I do not know how else to handle the situation. We offered to move it at full price or a complete refund. We did not ask our customer to pay for service it did not receive. Our company paid a significant price for the situation. We paid a manger, 3 men, truck miles and fuel and were compensated nothing for it. I say that not to say we are owed something, but to show we were willing to take the loss in this situation even believing that we didnt have all the information we should have.

Totally deceitful company. Told me I had 30 days to report damage..."don't worry about what it says on the service agreement" Refused to pay for damage to a big screen t.v and gouged and scratched antique piece of furniture. Will never use again.

My horror story is about the Huntsville, Alabama franchise of 2 Men and a truck. My wife called them to unload a rental truck for us. There was one HUGE piece of furniture in the truck that we just couldnt handle ourselves. We told them when we called that it was 91"x93" and 2 ft thick and weight about one thousand pounds. They told us that they could handle it..."no problem". They said that would send "Charles" over to check it before they sent the crew. "Tasha" said he would be there around 10:30. We waited until 11:15 to call and check and was told that they had no idea who we spoke with but nobody was coming out to check but the move was scheduled for between 12:30 and 2:30. Again, we told them to send a large crew because one of the pieces was HUGE and HEAVY. "Tasha" informed my wife that she has already told them and they would be ready. So we waited...and waited until around 2:00. The truck arrives and three young guys popped out. There was not a really strong one in the group. They took one look in the truck and said that they could not handle the job. They call "Nick" to ask for help. They told him about the problem and then handed the phone to me. "Nick" informed me that I had two options. The first was to wait for a second crew to show up and I would pay for the first to sit there with me at $130 per/ hour until the second crew showed up and then the rate would double! I told him that we had informed them of the size and weight of the item at 7:30 that morning and I was told that there was no record of that and that he was "not wanting to debate it with me". My other option was just to call it a day and take a refund on the first crew. I decided on a slight modification of the second option. I demanded a refund and would report them to the BBB. I was paying daily rental of the truck so in addition to the time wasted hew as also wasting my money. I called another company that had returned my call earlier but I had told that I already had a contract with 2 Men and a Truck. He was there with a real moving crew in 45-minutes and did a very good job of taking care of the mess that "Nick" left me with. I would not recommend 2 Men and a Truck to move my garbage to the street.

What a mistake using this company. After reading your reviews, I have only myself to blame. Should have done more reasearch. My issues mirror many of the comments stated. Slow, inefficient and inconsiderate of other peoples belongings. I paid an upfront fee of $110, then $110/hour on top of that. They moved my 900sf apartment, drove 1 mile to my storage unit to unload a 10x10 unit, then drove 1.5 miles to my house. All of this in 11.5 hours. The kicker, all my stuff was boxed up and wrapped. They put padding around 5 pieces of furniture - and after 6 hours of their inefficiency I helped load/unload the truck. This move would have take close to 15 hours had I not helped. I could not believe it. Some of what their professional movers brough to the table: 1.) When we got to my storage unit, they wasted 1 hour "unloading" the truck to reposition items to fit my storage stuff (despite the fact that I commented the unit was a full 10x10. 2.) They received at least 40 phone calls throughout the day - despite it being a Sunday (no extra charge) and the offices were closed. I had to ask them on several occassions to "stop w/the phone calls." 3.) When we got to my new neighborhood - I was upstairs in my home when I heard one of the drivers yelling down the street at two young ladies "you're hot, come on over here." I had to go down stairs tell the idiot to "shut his mouth" and that "I was reporting his behavior to the office." 4.) On several occassions they would leave my apartment w/my stuff and not come back for 10 minutes. At first the told me how "important it is to pack the truck correctly." When I went to check on them on several occassions I found them a.) on their phones, eating snacks, and sitting on my couch in the driveway ("taking a short break.") 5.) When I called the office to complain about the "inefficient work" and the "cat calling" out in the street they said they would inquire w/the drivers what happened. I got a call back 2 days later and was told a.) they felt they worked efficiently and b.) there was no "cat calling" in the street. I was stunned. 6.) I didn't think I would have a problem getting a "small refund" for the inefficient work, but 2 weeks later I have nothing. In the end, $110/hour is too much to charge for 2 men (way too much for 2 idiots). What I've written is not an exaggeration. What a waste! I ended up paying $1,300 for this service. Do yourself a favor. Find someone else to move you...if no other alternative, do it yourself.
japabale 10/14/2008
If you value your property, don't! They played "Pick Up Sticks" with my items when they packed. Many items were broken or torn beyond use. Even though I was promised they would stay until finished, they quit after two hours and told me I could do the rest. The actual movers lost items. They stacked boxes higher than my head so I had to stand on a stepstool to open them and unpack. Despite all efforts to talk with someone, my calls were never returned. Someone from the national office contacted me and then told me the local supervisor would be calling me. He never did. I contacted the national office about this but had no response. Better to pay a few teenagers to work under your own supervision and then drive your own rented truck.

I hired TMAAT to help load furniture from my apartment to a moving truck that I rented. The customer service lady who set the day up was very friendly and easy to work with. I hired the men for two hours, as I lived on the third floor of my building and couldn't move the furniture on my own. Here is what went wrong: 1. The men called four hours before they were supposed to arrive to tell me they were on their way. They arrived forty minutes later and then spent fifteen minutes parking their moving truck they were not supposed to bring. 2. They moved furniture for forty minutes, and then gave me a twenty minute warning that it was almost time for them to leave. I was upset and confronted them about this. They said my moving time began when they first called me. So, I had to pay for time the men spent traveling in a large truck they didn't need and parking. This upset me because the company insists they told me this beforehand, yet if they had, I never would have agreed to such ridiculous terms. 3. It was very uncomfortable after I confronted the movers, and they knew I was upset. They had no problem leaving my furniture in the public hallway as they asked for my fiancee's credit card number to call in the charge. About this time I noticed my purse was missing. I had had it in the same spot in the middle of my apartment all day, as I was putting my most important belongings in it ... to ensure I didn't lose them in the move. Additionally, I had gone to the ATM earlier that day to get sixty dollars for a tip. The funny thing about this is that about a half an hour before I noticed my purse was missing, I heard the movers carrying furniture in the hall saying, "No, you have sixty bucks!" I should have put two-and-two together, but I was busy scrubbing my kitchen. 4. While I was frantically looking for my purse, the movers didn't bother to help, they just called in the billing information. They didn't care until my fiancee confronted them as they tried to leave and told them we called 911. Immediately they began acting as if they wanted to help us find the purse. This is the same picture they painted for the police. 5. I do believe the movers took my purse, as they were the ONLY people in my apartment. 6. Because of this occurrence, I am out a $400 purse, wallet, all personal identification, sales vehicle and personal keys, pictures I didn't want to lose, a $200 wallet and many other valuables I had stuffed in my purse that day. Not to mention, the days I missed from work visiting various government bureaus to get new identification, moving all banking accounts, cancelling credit cards and setting up identity fraud alerts. I am now being represented by an attorney, as the company refuses to take any responsibility. The attorney called me today to let me know that he investigated the two men who "moved" my belongings and found that both of them have extensive criminal records. Currently, one of them is in jail for felonious assault and the other left the company just after my move. Hmmmmmmm? Today, I learned Two Men and a Truck are willing to settle by offering me a mere $26.00. How would you feel if you were me?

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK SYDNEY ! i wish they had a bloody rating -1000000000 worst "attempted move I have ever had" started at 8.00 a.m and they said they wouldnt even be on the road till one.. 5 HOURS TO PACK A TRUCK UP !! ITS ONLY A FOUR BEDROOM TOWNHOUSE !! they asked us to rescudule as there was too much furniture than they expected... which is absolute BS.. we asked for 2 trucks & 4 men but they talked us out of it !! so they LEFT !! what the fuck ! and not even an apology from the manager in sydney ! also heard from a friend today that they used them and took advantage of her grandmother "waching them" and sat around smoking and was kicking her puppy. absolutely the worst experience ive ever had so unprofessional

I AM A FORMER EMPLOYEE FOR TWO MEN AND A TRUCK AT THE KINGSPOINTE PARKWAY IN ORLANDO LOCATION OWNED BY TONY THORNTON. I UNDERSTAND WHAT EVERYONE IS SAYING. I WAS ONE OF THE BEST WORKERS THEY HAD.THIS COMPANY WILL OVER CHARGE. I HAVE SEEN IT MY SELF IM A FORMER DRIVER.. THEY HIRE UN EXCPERIENCED MOVERS AND DRIVERS. WHEN THIS COMPANY STATES THAT THE MOVES WILL BE COVERED BY INSURENCE .WELL ITS NOT.ITS COVERED BY THE EMPLOYEES.BASICALLY DONT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH TWO MEN AND A TRUCK THEY WILL RIPE YOU OFF AND NORMALLY THE CUSTOMER WILL NEVER KNOW . THEY ALSO ADD ON EXTRA HOURS TO THE MOVE. THE OWNER IS A MEMBER OF THE BBB . SO ITS POINT LESS TO REPORT THEM THERE.

Thursday was my first and last time moving with Two Mean and A Truck. I wish I had found this site before I moved. Like everyone else, I was quoted 7.5 hours to move our entire home and this move should have taken 4 hours. So my husband and I decided to move most of the small items ourself to reduce the number of required hours. They came with 3 people! and still took 5.5 hours although we moved all of the clothes, televisions, boxes, small electronics and small tables. Worst of all in most rooms they scratched or damaged 60% of the furniture not to mention my new walls and foyer paint! I just hope when I call on Monday, I get a speedy response to REPLACE not REPAIR my less than year old furniture or we are going to have a problem.

Worst move we ever had. They forgot to book us for Memorial Day weekend, despite getting the credit card number 6 weeks before. Showed up on time, but things went down hill from there. Broken floor tiles in the new house, broken stepper, destroyed flowers, sat around much of the time and went hours over the estimate. To top it off, they left the garage door open at the old house and racoons spread trash all over. We will never use them again and are telling everyone we know. DON'T EVER USE THE ORLANDO AREA TWO MEN AND A TRUCK
skalbach 03/23/2007
I used Two Men & Truck on 3/17/07 to move my small 550 sqft aprtmnt. I have a heavy piece of furniture, so I was told I needed three guys. They quoted $135.00 an hour for the move. This seemed high, but they were highly recommended so I decided to use them. I had two drop offs, so I knew the move would take longer than usual. We estimated the move would take 4 hours: 3 to move my apartment (with 3 movers!), & 1 to move a few items to the 2nd drop off. It took 4 1/2 hours to do the first part and 2 hours to do the second part. I was paying for 3 movers, but I got 2 guys who did the work and 1 guy who "supervised" & spent a lot of time doing paperwork & even took a 30 minute stinky bathroom break. I rushed to get them done at the end of the move & didn't really inspect my stuff (I was still on the clock, afterall). My fiance noticed damage to our wood floors & on the armoire when he got home. This was the final straw. We had already paid almost $1000.00 to move a 550 square foot apartment...with 3 movers!!! (I almost forgot, they also charged us a $50.00 travel fee to "make the move worth their time," as if almost $1000.00 wasn't already worth their time.) I called the manager first thing Monday to tell him about the problems that we encountered, & he said that he would look into things. But the best that he has come up with is only $100 off our total move because it's my word against his movers. He says that he doesn't believe me because when he came by during the move everything seemed fine, but what was I supposed to say when I am at their mercy with my stuff already on their truck? I think it's obvious just by looking at the numbers. It was a small one bedroom apartment! Oh, and I almost forgot, I had already moved all my clothes, my entire kitchen, & one of my dressers myself prior to the move. I also moved all of my own electronics and odds and ends the day of the move. So, does $1000.00 still seem right? If you ask me, it doesn't add up.

Prospective franchisees who wish to obtain a two men franchise or told this in a prospectus. " You join an organization that has: "Commitment to the customer." "Core values, mission, personal assistance." "Commitment to excellence." I beg to differ. We didn't use the company to move us, only we had one of their trucks "move" our car in an accident. While on her way to a doctor's visit in Manhattan my wife honked furiously and watched in horror as a New Jersey based Two Men truck backed up into her, smashing the passenger side door. Too shaken to call the police she had her doctor come out later to get the necessary information from the driver who admitted blame. Now the company insists our claim was fraudulent and invites us to take the long, arduous path to suit in small claims court, rather than let their insurance company make amends. A call to the parent company got the ear of a sympathetic individual, but the person said, "We have no control over this."

A move I made using my friends and family was a hundred times better than my recent move with this company! Two Men and A Truck employees gouged, chipped, and/or scratched every piece of my bedroom furniture. They also gouged my sofa table, poked a hole in my mattress, lost my armoir hardware, and broke a leg off of one of my wooden plant stands. I was told "their" furniture repair company would be in touch within a few days. Two weeks later I was still trying to get a response as to when everything would be fixed. Then I find out that the repair company doesn't work weekends! I work all week and why should I take a vacation/sick day to let them fix something that THEY damaged?! Anyway, I am still (30 days later) trying to get my things repaired at a convenient time for me and if it goes on much longer, I may file a suit against them. I wouldn't use them again if they paid ME!!

Two Men and a Truck Omaha, Nebraska is terrible... we hired two men to load our moving truck for us, and they damaged our wood floors, threw our stuff around, and didn't pack anything properly unless we were breathing down their necks. As a result our kitchen table was badly damaged (they threw it on top of everything without properly wrapping it) and our mattress was punctured by the metal piece in a wardrobe box... all they had to do was turn the box 90 degrees and it wouldn't have happened. The claims manager in Omaha has basically told me that since it wasn't their truck, they weren't liable, but it's not like all of our stuff was damaged -- just those two items that were obviously improperly packed. Isn't that great? Since it wasn't their truck, we don't get professional moving services! They just show up, toss everything on our truck, take their money, and walk away -- no liability for their gross negligence. I could have hired two guys off the street and had the same service. In contrast, the franchise here in Atlanta was great... the crew that was supposed to move our stuff decided they didn't want to do it, so they ended up pulling two guys who were on their way home to help us finish unloading the truck... those guys were great, very fast and professional. Too bad it took their office 3 hours to find someone to move our stuff off the truck. Overall I'd say not to bother. If their liability ends the moment they're done loading your stuff, it's not worth it. Find someone else to do your loading that will actually take some pride in your work and not damage your house.

Two Men and A Truck are Stephen King's idea of a moving company. A complete nightmare. They were 6 1/2 hrs late and actually got an attitude with me when I called to question the delay. No notice call was made that they were finally on their way. The 2 men took fully twice as long as any other move I have made with less than half the same furniture I have moved in the last 10 years. That's why they want you to pay by the hour. Oh, yes, the movers told me I could help them if I wanted! LOL They broke a metal table. How do you break a metal table?? Then gave me a sob story about it coming out of their minimum wages and please don't do a damage claim. TM&T did come back and refund one hour charge ($100) but their charges still are fully a third more than any other move. It ended up taking me 12 hrs to move 10 pieces of furniture and 60 boxes one and a half miles down the road. The office staff was fine, the movers were polite. They just can't get the job done.

If you want help or piece of mind don't use 2 Men and a Truck. I hope this helps someone else not think two men and a truck insured status will help you these people charge and advertise like and insured mover but don't act like it. If they break something they just deny it. They will send you 2 condescending, slow and unresponsive men....and trust me I am the overly patient sort (so if you are not then these people may drive you to insanity). Then they created a dent in our expensive bedroom dresser and when I show them one of the movers says to get and estimate and they will pay to fix it. They also badly scrape up our stair by taking a dolly up and down repeatedly....they then deny the damage was their fault on this one. But the dolly tracks are obvious. On this one they say they will send out an insurance adjuster to look at the damage. I paid them under the false pretenses they created that they: 1) would pay for the damage on my dresser and 2) two they would send out an insurance adjuster to inspect the damage on the stair. Then their management calls me and says that none of the damage was caused by them (remember they said they would pay to fix the 1st one and therefore clearly took responsibility at least for that one). Then they said they would not be sending an adjuster out. So I hired an insured mover, but to deny the benefit of an insured move is to deny the service altogether. And their assurances they would pay for the damage caused me to pay them for the service. Wish I hadnt. Update: Today a lady called again from the company this time again to deny they had caused any damage. She said that impossible that they had caused the damage to my dresser because they didnt have anything sharp in their truck. Does is take something sharp to hurt a dresser in a move? Or course not. Although she said she would send someone out from the company to look at my dresser .obviously just to tell me in person they hadnt caused any damage. What a terrible attitude. This review is about 2 men and a truck in Dallas!

We used two men and a truck from Brian G. in Statesville, NC. They moved us more than three months ago and have not sent anyone to our home to look at the damages that were done. We have a stainless steel side by side refrigerator that we bouth in 2003. They dropped one of the doors and put a big dent in it. When they were taking the refrigerator out of the house they forgot to take the glass shelves out. They fell out and got scratched that has now turning into cracks. I would not suggest you use this company. They sent out two young men, they compained, were in to much of a hurry and one of them cussed me out.

I had my worst experience with this company, most of my furniture have scratches after the move. During the move there was a temporary problem with the elevator, movers wanted to go to lunch around the corner. Problem was fixed, despite my phone call they did not come back for 2.5 hours. After the move, I had some boroken stuff, a frame the picked up to replace within a week, it has been 3 months they have not done it. I would never let them move my staff again!

The movers were very unprofessional. They argued with each other the entire time they were packing. They left us standing in our house with 5 full carloads full of stuff as they drove off. They took over 4 hours to make a 3 hour drive. When packing our furniture into a storage shed they broke several things. They tossed stuff up to the top of the stacks of furniture they made instead of placing it in storage shed. We have not completely unloaded the storage shed to check out everything, but so far every piece of furnture we have pulled out is broken or scratched.

The move itself was ok. But the movers scratched the wood floor in my old house. When I filed a damage report, I was told that I would be contacted about it within 48 hours. Nobody ever called. In the last month and a half, I have called them numerous times and spoken with various managers, none of whom have taken responsibility or kept promises to follow up with me.

Awful packing and protecting furniture and appliances. ALL APPLIANCES WERE SCRATCHED AND DENTED. Dining room table scratched. The walls/floors/carpeting IN BOTH LOCATIONS we damaged to some degree. TO OUR AMAZEMENT, THE MOVERS CLAIMED ALL THE DAMAGE HAD ALREADY BEEN AND PROCEEDED TO GET INCREASING RUDE! WOW! Must be a huge market demand for movers in Raleigh, NC, otherwise they would be out of business.

I used the company 4 times so far and the first 3 times I was extremely happy with the care and concern they showed me but the last time will be the last time I use them. They didn't send the crew I had requested to finish my move which was done in 3 separate segments. The last crew didn't seem to want to be there and do their job. They were lazy and sloppy. They left 3 or 4 boxes of my belongings out in the rain and weather and broke the glass tops on two of my dressers and then tried to hide it from me. I also had just received a new console cabinet just days before they brought the remainder of my things to the new address and they took a chunk out the front of it. Things didn't get put where they needed to be in all it was a diaster. When I found the damage I requested a damage report be made and was told they didn't have any with them but to get a couple quotes for the broken glass and to call one of the movers and they would get it replaced through his mothers business. Color me stupid but isn't that a bit odd. I didn't do that but did call the office and they sent someone out to get the broken glass and to take pictures of the damage to the cabinet. That was over a month ago and so far no new glass and no repair to the cabinet. I called to day and was told it was on its way and the repair person would contact me which was the same story all the other times I have called in the past month. I finally did get the furniture mans call and said that this was the first he had heard about the problem and he will be here in a couple days to correct things. Don't deal with this company they lie and hope you will get tired of calling and everything will go away it didn't and it won't. One unhappy customer can and does ruin a reputation.

These guys were great! They worked quickly and effeciently. Polite, well dressed, clean cut, and very well mannered. They took care of my furniture and were very organized. The office staff was wonderful! I was sent a letter confirming my upcoming move and received a phone call as well. Included in my letter were helpful hints on saving money and some moving tips! The Two Men and a Truck in Tuscaloosa, Alabama is a FIVE STAR company! Thanks!

The worst movers I've ever seen! Should be named two lazy crack heads and a truck. These guys put holes in walls and ceilings, damaged the lawn by putting huge gashes in it from the truck, scratched the hard wood floors, and damaged personal items. Took 3 guys and MYSELF 12 hours to complete an estimated 7 hour job (Estimated were from 2 other companies also) because 2 of the guys were too lazy to do any work. One of them never left out of the truck until the last hour and a half. Even one of the workers opted not to charge us for the whole amount because it should have only taken 7 hours, 8 at most. Company owner still wants to charge us for 5 extra hours of work and for boxes we never used. Company owners also illegally charged our credit card for the remaninding disputed amount without permission nor notification. Shady business in Charlotte, NC. Would not recommend these guys to my enemies!!!
