Love this hotel. The staff are always very friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this one is my favorite because of those reasons. I noticed they always seem to have good prices and are in central locations. The one in Chicago is especially high quality.

Radisson Hotels are mostly decent, although there are other places that I look to first before the Radisson. I believe that one of the reasons for this is because of their convenience and number of locations. I would like to rate them higher, but I cannot.

I've stayed at various Radissons in the US. They have always been a fine hotel. They remind me of a step up from a motel, but not in the bad way. They have all that I could need but at a more affordable price than some other hotels. Always a pleasant stay!

Radisson Plaza Hotel Sakatchewan ,Regina, SK Canada.
This is not a place to eat,for sure. One friend of mine had ordered a chicken dish at the Cortlandt Hall dining room at Hotel Saskatchewan.When the dish came, the chicken was not even cooked! I couldn,t believe my ears when I was told this.Like, how can a chicken go uncooked.Think you,d notice that right away in the kitchen BEFORE the dish was even sent out? Well, she might have got salmonella, or worse from that alone. When I went there last, the desserts were just awful!They taster like actual FLOUR.Not sweet at all and also very dry.
Not really a place to stay,either. The time I had dined there, I had gone to use the restroom. Well! The houskeeping was TERRIBLE. I saw paper towels strewn over the floor and big water puddles as well. No, they were not trying to repair something. The puddles were very dangerous. Why? The floor was a slick, shiny black granite tile floor. Looking for lawsuits is what I thought when I saw this. Someone could easily have slipped and broke their hip in there!
With these comments, does it say much about the way things are looked after upstairs in the rooms? I woldn,t be surprised if the rooms were just as bad. Unwashed linens and dirt everywhere, I,d say.

Unlike many of the people to post here, I think highly of Radisson because I have yet to stay in one that I had a bad experience. Neat, clean rooms. Good, honest service. The price is more than at a budget hotel, but you get what you pay for. Try them.

Radisson in Jacksonville, FL - nice lobby, bad room. Shower curtain was badly mildewed. Room was "worn out".

NY radisson rude people at desk, canceled reservation without notice so that when we arrived we had no hotel room.It took four hours for them to agree to try to get us another hotel and then got one for 60$ a night more plus 40$ a night more for parking. Other customers at desk had same experience if they booked with hotel internet site.

Stayed at a Radisson hotel in Duluth, MN in October 2000. Somewhat unpleasent experience. They had our reservation booked for the night before so we didn't have any reservation. They wanted to charge my wife's credit card for the night that they said we had booked They found us a room with a less than desirable view of the parking structure, instead of the harbor view room that we booked. There were no luggage carts available and it took a long time for a bellboy to come to the desk. All he said was that he didn't have any luggage carts available. Breakfast in the revolving resturant was great with a great view of the harbor. There was nobody available with authority to straighten out the erronous credit card charge. Two long distance calls and several days later, someone was found to correct the error. Not really a pleasent experience.

When traveling for work, I often stay at the Radisson. While they're usually not the most attractive hotels, the rooms have always been clean, the check in has always been easy, and the room service is decent. Overall, if you're on the road and need a decent place to stay, this is a safe bet.

I can't speak for all of them but the one in the city where I live is in a terrible state of disrepair. Why give it a 4 then you ask? Well it has recently been bought and it going to be able to keep the Radisson name and that's all it really needs is a little TLC. It's a great old building, huge, and has a rooftop bar that gives views of the entire city and the bay. When renovations are finished this place will be a 5 and I'll be back to change it.
