I am giving twin peaks 5 stars strictly for the view only. I can't help it. It's a great way to show a newbie to the city the aerial map of the city. It's amazing. You can see actually how small the city is when your up on twin peaks. 7 miles by 7 miles is really nothing when you think about it!!

Recently moved to this neighborhood from Downtown area. This place is absolutely quiet, neat and feels fresh. You will have excellent views in most of the houses. Interestingly the rents are cheaper compared to downtown. Mostly street parking is free if youget itThe public transportation can be little better, but not worse. You should need a car to live in this place.

Beautiful views. Too rich for my blood. Also kind of removed from everything.

You, too, could live in the FOG and wind.

Twin Peaks is terrific. It's close to West Portal, Cole Valley, Noe Valley and The Castro. The closest you will get to suburban living in the heart of the City. The 37 Corbett is the WORST MUNI bus in the City. That is the only negative thing about Twin Peaks. If you live in this neighborhood, you have to have a car and drive.

My favorite neighborhood. I would most like to live up here than anywhere else. Convenient to the Castro shopping area.
