The medium bodied number three (habana) is my favorite cigar. Smooth with good favor and finish. I put it out near the end and chew on it to experience the actual tobacco flavor. It’s that good.

I got one of these from a friend of mine once. I'm hardly a cigar expert, but I do like a good one from time to time and I thought this was a pleasant smoke for the occasional cigar smoker. They have some that are made in Cuba and some made in the Dominican Republic, so it's about as close to a real Cuban cigar you can get without going to Cuba yourself.

Montecristo is one of the first cigars I ever smoked (a #2 torpedo), and it is still one of the best cigars I ever had. Classic Cuban flavor (not too strong or weak), nice even burn and just silky smooth when smoked. I just don't know what else to say about this cigar, it is all around a superlative smoke. Although by no means cheap, but very well worth it if you can find a retailer who won't try to gouge you for one just because it is a "Cuban".

a bit pricey but an excellent smoke. I smoked it very slowly as to not let it get hot at all. Very creamy and mild with a hint of nuttiness. I would definitly buy a box if i had the money!!!!!

A good choice for an every day cigar if you can afford them. Buy on sale. Fairly mild overall.

Very good cigar. Smooth and mild with little to no bitterness. My favorite is the Magnum. I highly recomend these.

I have only had a cuban Moteristo. It was one of the best smokes i have ever had. Perfect flavor all the way through. Plus a perfect draw every time.

An awesome cigar if smoked while moist, thick and oily, yet mild smoke, that dosen't get bitter near the end. My only complaint is that they take way too long to smoke, inconvenient in a bar or club environment, especially in good old Canada with it's tyrannical laws against indoor smoking.

yes i love the cubans however i use them to make blunts but thay are great smoke especly if you take all the tabbaco out (not by cutting it out) and mixing it with weed and puttin it back in the combo of the two is wonderful

Not great but have not tried the cuban version. It was too mild for me.

Montecristo cuban torpedos cannot be topped. If you are a true lover of REAL cigars. Stear clear of the Dominican Montecritso. Enjoy!

Let's be real clear on this... 5 stars is for the Monticristo CUBAN Cigar, particulalry the 2000 limited edition or the # 4 or 10. Speaking strictly to the Cuban version, this is one of the best cigars ever made, bar none. Smooth throughtout with just exquisitly subtle undertones. Combine that with a fine finish and you have a real winner. As to the Dominican Monticristo (this is the one avalible in the US), I think you can do better with the Le Aurora or Ashton. The Dominican leaf is good but not great and for those of us who have had the cuban brand, the domincan is a real let down. Make sure you're smoking a REAL cuban and enjoy this fine cigar.

Monte Cristo is probably my favorite cigar that is available in the US. They are more expensive than a Punch or Bauza, but they taste terrific. Full-bodied, buttery, but yet a little spicy.

Motecristo is to cigars what Sam Adams is to Microbrews. There are so many makes and varieties that it is difficult to differentiate them and it is difficult to rate as a brand. Overall though, I find Montecristos to be an inequal smoke and not relevant of Cuban's in general. They have a lighter aroma which makes them decent for crowded places and good for cigarrette smokers and occaisional cigar smokers who can't step up to more robust brands.
