My first cigarette was a Marb Light 100. Ah the memories. For a while, I only smoked those cuz I'd bum them from my neighbors. Occasionally, if I run out, my neighbor'll still give me one or two. I enjoy them, long lasting, not too strong like most Marb smokes, and very good flavor. Although they're not the kind of cigarette to smoke down really fast. But I enjoy them nonetheless. However, Camel still has my heart. and my lungs.

nice relaxing cigs which go well with alcohol , can be hard to get a kick off though espc the longer the pack has been opened for.

oh my god fucking lights suck. ill smoke them if i really have to but honestly id give away a pack for like 3 bucks. they are wayyyyy to weak and they dont leave me smelling like ciggs, which oddly i love.

decent amount of nicotine kick. ok flavor. give u a buzz and can really satisfy. if they have been out for more than a day they get stale and are harsh on your throat if you are not used to smoking and may leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Buzz worthy cigs that get you out of a slump. I mean they were my cigs of choice for 3 years now. I smoked cartons of these on the island I was at. I started in grad school. This brought me into smoking regularity so if you don't want to be addicted, don't smoke these. The buzz gets you coming back, but they are good with the coffee. Very nostalgic. My choice of smokes because I had them through all good and bad times. I passed exams not studying much as long as I could smoke these to focus better, all nighter, no sleeping and studied well to retain as much info in my hardest subjects. Also didn't binge for snacks at those times and was still able to focus. Good for the serious student that has test anxiety.

I can see why everyone says they taste bad.....

BUT these ciggs are probbably the heaviest ciggs I've smoked, they give me a huge buzz, I don't know why but I prefer these over the Reds. They are harsh and they leave an icky taste in your mouth, if your looking for good flavor go for Camel, if your looking to get lightheaded and buzzed smoke these or the Reds.

I switched to Marlboro Lights 100's about 15 years ago. My two daughters and son also smoke Light 100's. In my opinion they are one of the best cigarettes available. We tried switching to Marlboro 100's to cut down to a pack a day but the taste just wasn't as good as Light 100's.

they give a decent buzz but after smoking turkish royals, they are like smoking hell.

I am a very casual smoker (3-5 cigs per day). I really enjoy Marlboro Lights, no bitter after taste or anything.

I can understand why these cigarettes are one of the most purchased in the US. They have a crisp and smooth taste to them. They are relativly cheap as well.

These are quite decent smokes. A very definite hit to your throat for those that like that. At first, these tasted bad for me. But I gotta say, they are definitely worth a try. If you're usually a light smoker, I would start off with the extra lights for these. They're quite strong for lights. For example, a regular Du Maurier (terrible smokes btw) is about 3x weaker than the Marlboro Lights. It's quite flavourful. But remember, smoking is a pleasure, at least for me. Don't overdulge yourself into cancer now.

In my latter years I gave in to pressure and started smoking the "light" brand of cigarettes. Didn't make much of a difference since I smoked twice as many to make up for the lack of nicotine. Preferred Winston Lights, but would snipe one of these if I could find it in an ashtray.

i smoked lights for a few months and realized i needed something different..plain taste and marlboro just doesnt have that great of products...i switched to camel turkish silvers and let me tell you..if you do the same you will be sold

One of the worst I've ever tried, not smooth at all which is strange for a light. The aftertaste isn't enjoyable at all, even the smell isn't any good. If you're looking around for a light cigarette, check out some different camels, the no. 9's are pretty good.

The taste never really got to me. Definately not my brand. But Reds on the other hand....

i hate these, but i would accept one if i bummed it. they dont feel like your smoking a cigarette. i usually see old people smoking these, probably bc theyre lungs are so f-ed up from smoking so long, that they cant take a good strong cigarette. i hate lights, because, they dont reduce your risk of cancer as opposed to full flavor, and if your gonna risk that, why not taste and feel the smoke? the reason so many older people go to marlboro lights is bc they used to smoke the reg. marlboros, which are harsh on your throat. id suggest switching BRANDS before starting to smoke these sticks of shit.

Yuck!! Horrible, horrible, horrible. Marlboro Lights are the overrated Marlboro Reds' ugly little brother that lives in a cage in the attic. There are an infinite number of nicer light smokes on the market, ones that don't taste of something stale. Avoid.

Hm, if I absolutely HAD to smoke a cigarette marked "Lights" - I suppose I would be smoking these. But for NO other reason. I suggest Lights smokers try a pack of No. 27s, they're not as harsh on your throat as some Reds are, and you're going to get a good kick out of them. Just a suggestion.

They're alright, I like the taste though. It's not too strong like reds, and I remember way back when i was in highschool when i first tried this. It was my first cig ever, but it didn't get me addicted, so its okay.

Every once in awhile you'll get your hands on some Marlboro Light imports from Mexico or Russia or the Phillipines and they taste like ASS

And then you start smoking the real US domestic ones and you realise... THEY STILL TASTE LIKE ASS

terrrrrrrrrible... i took a couple of these from my mom one time, you could drag on them for 2 hours and still not feel like your getting any smoke. *2 7 s*

One problem I've found is how bad the cigarettes go when sitting on the shelf for a long period of time. The best cigarette I've had was a fresh Marlboro menthol light 100. It had a sweet smell and a nutty taste, quite like a candy bar. Unfortunately, the next box I bought had to be thrown out after two smokes it was that bad. Same brand but different shelf life. All I can say is be carefull where you get them and be on the lookout for clearance sale techniques.

I didnt like these. It was so boring-like smoking air. If your gonna smoke something-you mine as well feel it-at least go to the step up and get a marb. blend no. 27-those are so much better than this useless cig.

Pretty standard Marlboro flavor, weak buzz. For light smokers, you may have found your match here. For me? No.

I used to smoke lambert and butler, until i tried a Marlboro Light on holiday even since i came home, thats all i smoke, great taste, good smoke, not harsh on the throat, excellent cigarette

Smoked these for years. They have a good flavor but you have to pull pretty hard to get a good drag. They are not as good as Marlboro Reds. I started on Marlboro Reds and always go back to them. They are the best.

I just tried a menthol light, and I'm pretty new to cigarettes, but i usually smoke marlboro reds, and i barely get that lightheaded feeling, but for some reason after I smoked one of these, I was very lightheaded, almost sick, but more of a high feeling. However i did like the taste, i prefer non-menthol, but these werent overly minty so it was a good blend

These are clearly my favorite cancer sticks. I hardly even feel like they are killing me when I smoke them. Not like the Marlboro Reds, you can actually feel them killing you with each puff. The lights do a much better masking the deadly toxins as you puff your brain away.

Marlboro lights are pretty good. They are mild, smooth, and not to harsh on the thoat. I switch between Parliament Lights and Marlboro Lights pretty often. I like Parliaments taste better but they burn much faster. I also am not a fan of the way the Marlboro filter gets moist. I enjoy swimming and running in Manhattan and neither of these brands makes me feel sick or unhealthy.

My regular smokes for a while (off and on between these and Camel Lights). Very pleasant, good smoke. Just about right for me in terms of flavor and smoothness, and something I could pretty much smoke all the time. They do taste a little artificial compared to a lot of cigarettes I smoke (I like to vary brands), but that doesn't bother me all that much. Among other brands and styles, MB lights were considered a step up from reds among my childhood friends.

Argh! I really agree with hondadriver22's comments; these taste very chemical, and have a very uneven taste not just among different packs, but also among cigarettes in one single pack. I don't think it's just because I'm a Honda driver as well... ;)

I've always smoked Marlboro Reds. For the past two days, I've been using Lights. They are leaving a very bad taste in my mouth. I must smell horrible and won't get too close to anyone. The Ultras do the same thing. As for a nicotine lift, I'm not getting it, but it's really not bothering me. The Reds made me cough alot after almost each puff. The Lights are not doing that, and I'm getting a good puff from them too. From the comments I've seen, I think I'll try the Kamel Red Lights.

Smell great, taste great. A good all around cigarette. They don't even taste like a light cigarette. I still prefer Reds but these are my second favorite

Marlboro Lights seem to be popular among high school/college student smokers. But these cigarettes in reality taste OK. They're better than Camel Lights, and they get a plus for being all-white cigarettes. But I only recommend these as a regular brand if the smoker prefers light cigarettes in general.

These are perfect for beginners or for somebody who is on-the-go and they just want a quick smoke. They are, however, too weak for a novice or seasoned veteran smoker. I acctually perfer the taste of those sweet, sweet Marlboro full flavor 100's. Good God those things are good. A beginner smoker should move onto those when they are a good six months into smoking. Marlboro Rules!!!

They're too weak to me but they are ok for beginners, I prefer Camel Lights or Dunhill Lights. I also won't support Phillip Morris.

OK, when I decided to start smoking (I was fully aware of what I was doing at 19) I tried several different cigarettes, but liked Marlboro Lights best. They are smooth and I have never coughed with them.

Marlboro lights are ok. They never had Silk Cut in the States when I was over there four years ago so I smoked these, not bad for a substitute.

Best cigarette around by far. Used to smoke B+H and was always coughing my lungs up. been on these for 4 or 5 years now and they hardly ever make me cough. They feel stronger than all other lights and give me the buzz i need to get through the day.

An okay choice for a thoughtless quick purchase. If you actually like to smoke these, go get yourself a pack of Kamel Red Lights . . they taste the way you WISHED these would taste, but they have the buzz you don't get with these. I doubt you will go back to these if you can past the cost difference. . but you get what you pay for!!

Not one of my favorites, not much to them. I personally wouldn't spend money on them. But if I am out of ciggs, I'll steal one from someone else hehe.
