When asked a serious question concerning any number of inconsistencies, he speaks to the masses the way I berate my dog after he has an accident on the kitchen floor. . .

Has the delivery style of a corporate CEO making a negative report to a stockholder's meeting. It always sounds to me like he'd rather be somewhere else where he didn't have to talk to the great unwashed.

Whenever he speaks I detect pure arrogance. In my book that's not a good quality to have.

Cheney is very business-like in all of his presentations. Very cold and steady, much like his political style. His core supporters say that it indicates that he takes himself and his job seriously, but in order to gain political capital, one must make that connection with the people. He seems to look down at the podium more rather than address the audience. His jokes are always stilted and always antagonistic towards his opponents. After the speech is done, rarely does he go out into the crowds to shake hands with the people. I think this indicative of his more introverted qualities, rather it indicates that he has a certain imperious contempt for the people and the process.
