I met George Bush 41, and an orator he is not. I was surprised for a blue-blood, that he was a real person and had a common touch. I suppose moving to Texas to make his bones in a rough industry had something to do with that.
I also have a friend who is a close friend of the elder Bush. My friend affirms my assessment.

About a 2.5 actually, but I'm feeling generous. Had a bland, avuncular style, that neither repelled nor appealed.
