Run into the ground with saturation advertising. Enough already, time to come up with a new ad campaign: the idea of a cute little animated reptile with a "funny" Australian accent isn't all that clever. Caveman idea was a lot better, IMO.

Tell me when can you expect a commercial where you will find verbal humor in insurance?
Berkshire Hathaway was wise to get this insurance company and make it into one of the best ones for insurance because of the geCKo making some wise crack at the end of radio commercials and equally on TV. Sometimes, he can get into trouble, but always finds an answer. He is one memorable repesentative whether or not he has an English accent.

The Geico Gekko is considered iconic in advertising circles - for it's likeability and low cost to produce (it's about one tenth the cost to use an animated character over a big name actor.).

Plus, I dig lizards.

Must be pretty good, because the commercials have been on for awhile now, and they don't annoy the hell out of me when they come on, like 95% of most commercials, new or old, do. I haven't been compelled to go out and get Geico Insurance, admittedly, but I also haven't felt like throwing a lamp through the TV set when they come on either.

Getting old fast but not the worst or dumbest TV spot.

But I'm starting to wonder if he'd make a good wallet.

I always mute commercials, but when these come on I turn the sound back on. I love these commercials, but am probably biased as I happen to also love day gecko's. (note to Geico: Day Gecko's don't blink, Leopard Gecko's and a few others do though.)

I've always liked the little guy - before and after his Cockney conversion. The detail in his skin and eyes is still somewhat amazing to me also.

Bear Grylls next meal. Quick boost of energy before he scales Everest in his underwear.

When he runs out of food, he can eat the cameraman.

I love the Geico Lizard! But I hate the cavemen, and the money with eyeballs scares me. "That's the money you could be saving with Geico!" Take away the money with eyeballs and the cavemen or I will rip the eyeballs off the money, and take the money with me!!

Actually, I think the gecko is the best part of these commercials. Get rid of the cavemen, and while you're at it, the money with the eyeballs can go, too.

I wish there was a zero star rating. Have had to listen to these stupid commercials for years now, they make me want to vomit. Geico is copnstantly shoving this english accented character down our throats. How can they possible be saving anybody any money, theie advertising expenses have got to be the greatest of any us corporation. Who pays for that? Please, somebody kill the gecco.

The oft repeated commercials must surely register on their budget. After getting a quote which was much higher than my current rate, I lost all interest in them. All their commercials are now annoying.

This stupid ad campaign was ridiculous the very first time it was broadcast, and has steadily declined from there. Please get rid of it!

I just love that Gekko! Can't get over how specific, and realistic his movements are in the commercials. I just want to grab him and hug em to bits! He's just that cute! Love his accent! Love his mannerisms! He is the cutest lil thing on TV! Love that Gekko... just love that Gekko!

Most of the Geico commercials featuring the Gekko are pretty good for a chuckle and are typically far better than their other commercials. I will say this, though, when I watch these I never really learn anything about Geico so to me their not all that useful.

I want this thing to die. And that deadpan blond guy in the suit in the commercials with him is NOT funny. At all. In general Geico commercials are sort of funny at first but they come on EVERY commercial break so they get old VERY fast.
