 | Jeff Britain (0) 10/08/2004 | I used to like Guiliani. But not now that he supports Bush's initiatives so strongly. I know he's a Republican, but really. Our borders are not secure. Our cities, schools, nuclear plants, ports, etc are not secure. Be pro- an anti-terrorism focus....but for g-d sakes, speak out about how to do it the rigth way and where we should be focused.

 | LadyShark4534 (12) 07/13/2004 | Bush I don't mind. Giuliani tried to screw over the New York artist community, and has scrumped up on medical research. He speaks of morality and how artist Chris Ofili is a sick man yet Giuliani cheated on his wife and sped off with another woman.
Gee, Talk about hypocrisy!

 | magellan (160) 07/08/2004 | This is a no brainer for Bush, and not only because the sinister Dick Cheney is a political liability. Selecting Giuliani would remind swing voters why Bush launched his war on terror in the first place. It would evoke memories of how America came together as a nation following 9/11, how the world sympathized with us and offered their goodwill, and how Bush responded as a strong crisis leader. It would take focus away from things like Haliburton, and Abu Grahib, and Guantanemo Bay, and WMD's, and all the other stuff that has torn the country apart. And besides all the warm feelings a Giuliani selection would evoke, the man is a damn good politician and administrator as well. Giuliani would make a credible stand in President - and in today's environment, this should be the number one reason why a VP is selected - not the electoral votes he can bring to the table, or the part of the country he is from. ** Louie, do you read the news at all? While your hints at a massive liberal conspiracy are thought-provoking, I would GUESS that the reason Edwards is featured on the home page and not Cheney, is that Edwards' selection is newsworthy at the moment.

 | louiethe20th (74) 07/07/2004 | I agree with Magellan on this one.I agree with Magellan?Yes, it has happened before.Update:I would like to add how funny it is that Edwards is in the gallery picture for (2004 VP candidates) instead of the incumbent, Cheney. As well as when My weblist, Presidential candidates was showcased with a picture that had John Kerry's name in it.Then when I added a photo of G.W. my weblist was removed from the showcase.
