Quite a descriptive nickname for this head-hunting clod. This guy's built for effortless velocity. It must have been frightening for young rookies to have to face this corn-fed yokel in his prime. And along with Maddox, he was the best pitcher to come out of "that" generation. Still hate him, tho.

He was my sisters hero when he was with the Sox but when he went to the Jays she hated him. Me personally... he is nice to watch although I saw him mostly in his later years, I could watch him even if he played for the Yankees... I just wouldn't want him to win... mixed emotions there. Deserved the nickname without question.
