A forgiveable sequel especially considering that the first film was such an underdog and surprise hit that likely none of the right people got paid for it. Unfortunately nobody had the good sense to walk away at that point, and like many an aging punchy old fighter, they just kept going back into the ring and disgracing their legacy.

The second entry in the series is watchable, but that's about all. It goes downhill fast from there.
