One of the best shows on USA network.  The writers keep you guessing if the 4400 are a gift from the future or a curse. 

If I would have rated this during the first season, it would have received a 3 at best. The acting was horrible and some of the characters were laughable. BUT, the basic concept of the show and some of the story-lines kept me involved although pesimistic. The second season came with some relief. Most of the laughable characters did not return along with stronger main story lines. I'm half-way through it and it's much more enjoyable. I'll give it a 4 for now, but keep my mind open for change.

Love it but then I've always loved good sci-fi.

Very interesting premise, over the years people disappear without a trace, suddenly 4400 show up after a larg blue ball of light lands on earth near Seatle. The twist is, they have been changed or altered if you will with special gifts. The local homeland securtiy office watches over the 4400 and slowly discovers what kind of gifts some of them have. Not a lot of effect but the stories are good as is most of the acting. USA 8:00 Sundays!
