This is a tough one. Both men were relentless in their attacks. I have to agree with Dorsett33, Chavez would definitely work the body more than Alexis Arguello did. Would it make a differance? I really don't know. This would be a fight fans dream. At their peak both were tireless, both would consistantly throw punches in bunches and both could take you out. As a long time Chavez fan, I want to say he would win. As a honest true blue fight fan I would have to give Pryor an even chance.

another classic,when arguello fought prior he ignored the body,chavez would not do the same mistake,he would beat prior by winning the 2nd half of the slugfest

Stylewise-this one can't miss.Pryor was unbeatable at 140, and Chavez was definately unbeatable for most of the time he fought at this weight.
