Felix Trinadad vs Aron Pryor 5

Sometime after his second win over Alexis Arguello, a fight between Pryor and Sugar Ray Leonard was being made but fell apart because of Pryor's drug problems and if I remember right, Leonards first retirement. So it's not inconcievable that he could easily fight as a welterweight against Trinidad. This would be a classic. My gut insticts tell me Pryor would be too much for Trinidad, who proved he can be knocked out. Pryor would be too overwhelming against a game Trinidad.

This one would of been a close one. Especially Felix at age 23-25. Pryor always stayed busy which is why I think he would floor Tito at least twice, and flummoxing Tito. Pryor was perhaps the best 140 pounder of all-time, Felix was always in DLH's shadow from 19 all the way til he fought him (which he lost, my opinion 8 rounds to 4). Pryor wins 11 rounds to 4.

As good as Felix Trinidad is, he was more susceptible to the faster fighters of the lighter weight class. Not that he was ever in danger of being knocked out in the earlier stages of his career, but he never faced Aaron The Hawk Pryor, who was the quintessential assassin between lightweight to welterweight divisions. Pryor was the complete fighter with an iron chin (he withstood a vicious head pounding from Nicaraguan Alexis Arguello and went on to knock him out twice). Trinidad would have been frustrated and ultimately tired out from Pryor's unceasing onslaught and barbed-wire defense. A knockout? Perhaps. But more likely, Pryor would have won in a virtual shutout. In short, it might have been uncompetitive.
