It wouldn't be pretty, but Rocky would have won, without biting!

Holyfield was without doubt a very good fighter but I think that the pressure from Marciano would have caught up with him in the later rounds. Holyfield would probably be ahead on points by round 9 or 10 and that is when I think that the devestation from Marciano would have emerged as it has so many times before. Marciano to win by TKO round 10-12.

It would be a good fight. Holyfield is probably the prettier boxer, technically sound but Marciano had that savage, kill or be killed mentality that all the boxers back then did. I wouldn't want to bet but in a ten or twelve round match I'll take Holyfield by decision, fifteen rounds, I see a Marciano TKO

Quite possibly the two biggest hearts in boxing history. Someone would have went to the hospital, the other to jail. There would have been that much damage.

A fascinating fight. . .Marciano was a classic old-school killer but you have to give Evander credit although he hung on too long. I don't know as much about boxing as I should- but don't you have to go with the undefeated Marciano?

Marciano will most likely win by a late round knockout. Good fight

I consider Marciano a cruiserweight-which is where Holyfield won his first title against Dwight Quawi-in a war. At cruiser,I think this would be an excellent fight;I love Marciano, but I remain unconvinced that he would be effective against a bigger and well-conditioned modern heavyweight, which is what Holyfield became.
