This was the first artist that ever made me put here cd on repeat! As a matter of fact, i first herd it while on the way to an away game, my friend next to me was listening to it, i could barely hear it, but when i asked who it was, he told me and let me listen to the song that was playing. My mind was immediately blown when in my ear drums rushed the melodious go-go sound that was seductively laced with a sweet, soft voice. i totally stole that cd that day! Never befor had i been taken on such a beautifull voyage before in life! And it was as if she changed persons with every song, she started of on the CD entitled "Who is Jill Scott?" as the girl who walks up to you in the mall, you knw, the girl that you fell in love with so long ago, and though you somehow parteed ways, that's still who your heart belongs to? Yea, she's that girl in this song, she lster on turns into the "hood princess", who is oh so beautiful, but will quickly take in the middle of the street and "whoop yor tall for all its worth, $5.99 or sumthin like that" but in the middle of this cd, she evolves into this loing love, the likes in whom musically, i have never experienced before, and she sits you down and lets you listen to how she describes you to anothe somebody who wants to take your place, and she starts out by say these word, "You love especially diffrent.." Whew i need a wet napp!!! She's the truth! And her last cd "beautifully Human" is just as bananas! i swear, if she wasn't married she'd be Mrs, Jill Scott-Bboi!!!

One of the most talented artist of today's bunch. Refreshing, unique, great voice, great writer too. Thank god there are a few good ones out there and she is definately one of them.

I like her singing and her music. She's talented...no doubts about that.
