I found Cop Rock different and entertaining. Maybe because I knew one of the actresses on it personally and she has a great voice. I appreciated that all the singers actually sang live as it was taped versus lipsyncing to their own prerecorded voices. It was done as a huge gamble so it's cancellation was not a shock to anyone.

This looks fun at first but you must admit that this was a terrible idea. Let's see, we have a jury that breaks into song just before it sends someone to the chair, or how about a singing murderer or singing crack house occupants, etc. Looking back on it, the developers need therapy.

i have no excuse or valid reason for actually liking this show though i wasnt shocked when it was cancelled. maybe i just have a tendency to like odd things that doesn't seem to be the choice of the majority and in this case the choice of no one

Let me sing you a song while arresting you for shooting up a school. It was a horrible idea on paper then became horrible show in reality.

The absolute worst. . .a crime drama where police try to solve violent cases and deal with courtroom issues and then - break out into broadway song. Who in their right mind tries to mix police work with musical numbers? Who was the gay producer that greenlighted this? I want his or her head on a dish. . .
