A fabulously exciting player, with a surprising amount of power in his shot.

 | Kelticman (10) 01/21/2007 | Johann Cruyff was a truly outstanding footballer. Not only was he one of most gifted players of all time, he had a grace and on field presence that few could match. If things weren't going well for his team, he would take it upon himself to make tactical changes during a match without his manager's permission and would instruct team-mates roundabout him accordingly - which inevitably paid dividends. He had brilliant close ball control, an explosive turn of speed and could read a game almost perfectly. The Dutch master, who is by common consent properly regarded as the greatest ever European footballer, was so good that he even invented a move - the now popular, "Cruyff turn." In my book, he was a genius.
