Everywhere it the USA is a land of opportunity. I do not see why this has to associated with Arkansas. The Natural State makes more sense.

Since many people leave this state to seek opportunity, this is an unfortunate nickname. When I lived there, Arkansas dubbed itself "The Natural State", which is much more fitting.

Opportunity? I think I just saw an Arkansas travel commercial on TV this week that called it the Natural State. Well I guess opportunity worked for Bill Clinton, but I can't remember anybody else making it big out of Arkansas.
