I thought Illinois called itself the "Land of Lincoln".

This is a yawner. I would think that Illinois could come up with something better.

Always thought it was Land of Lincoln Actually wasn't Lincoln born in Indiana? Also Prairie is misspelled, isn't it? I looked it up and he was indeed born in Kentucky but he lived in Indiana and moved to Illinois when he was 21.

I always picture praries a little farther west in Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma; that area. Illinois is east of the Mississippi river, not exactly the place you'd see real praries. 99.99995 of people think of Chicagoland when they think of Illinios, but i'm betting this one was created before Chicago became a major city.

...or perhaps All We Really Have Going for Us is Chicago.
