figurines can be fun and inexpensive to collect. you can find them at yard sales and thrift stores for little to nothing and go home with a treasure. there is such a variety that the list is endless.

They make a good display, and save you money when you have to buy your children toys.

Though they have long provided homes for my massive Dust Collection, this is a perfect example of the kind of thing I now look at and wonder WHAT WAS I THINKING!!! Some of them will be Ebay bound before long and I just pray I find another schmuck, err, discriminating collector who would like to add them to their own collection.
