A clean, cozy café that plays mostly old people jazz music and occasionally switches it up with gentle country. Their beverages run on the sweet side; they serve a mean Mexican hot chocolate and yummy mochas. This place has large windows, polite staff, and wifi.

Cafe Que Tal is very conveniently located in 22nd Street and Guerrero. I have spent here many hours during my student life. Everyone there is very friendly and diligent. They know the name of the regulars and if you go there enough, they would also know what do you usually order. They offer a good assortment of food and beverage, I recommend the Lox Spread bagel. They have a free sketchy wifi connection but it is good enough to work or study.Nowadays, on weekdays, I stop by every morning to get my double latte and sometimes a Lox Bagel. On weekends it's a good spot to study, work or meet friends for a chat.

Best spot in the neighborhood to sit down with a laptop. It's luminous, comfy, alright music, tasty sandwiches, good coffee, quiet street...

This is a nice spot. It's bright and spacious, and the coffee is pretty good. There's a lot more space at Que Tal than Cafe Petra down the street, but it's also a little pricier ($7.50 for a ham and cheese croissant and an au lait). The wifi is also a little spotty, though it's free, and there are limited outlets.
