Boogaloos 5

I love boogaloos for brunch. First off, the wait sucks, so get there before 1030, and you'll be seated within 20 minutes (hopefully). While we wait to be seated, we walk across the street and bake in the sun on the stars at the bank. yessss. everything is good there and the prices are unbeatable! Even the cyrus' (grapefruit/champ) are 3 bucks each! Yes! great way to start a nice little sat before heading to the park!

Boogaloos 4

Finally got a chance to try Boogaloo's yesterday, and I wasn't disappointed. They're only open for breakfast and lunch, which is a little weird to me, but I guess it works for them.

They make a great chicken Caesar salad. It was kinda perfect in every way. Lettuce was chopped and fresh, chicken was seasoned well, and the croutons were crunchy and garlicky. Every bite was equally delicious.

The price was a little high ($7.50), but that's kinda normal for anything besides a burrito in the Mission, and I've paid more for the same thing elsewhere on Valencia Street.

This place is great to check out during the week...we were seated immediately and the service was fast (almost a little too attentive/schitzophrenic though. We had 3 different waitresses try to claim us). On weekends it's a total mob-scene. I know that's a good sign, but it seems sorta ridiculous to wait for brunch. Other people I went with had food that looked fantastic...between a giant quesadilla and a grilled cheese with tomato and bacon. Definitely check this place out, I've a feeling you won't be disappointed.

Boogaloos is for breakfast. The place is open from 8AM to 3PM every day and they serve breakfast that whole time. They have omelettes, breakfast burritos, scrambles, french toast, and all sorts of other breakfast stuff, and it's very good.

The music is loud, the crowd hipster, and the place is run down. At $8 a plate, you can probably do better elsewhere, but if you like breakfast you won't go wrong with Boogaloos.
