Tried this place a few years ago, was disappointed, but when I saw their new banner offering a Desayuno Burrito con Cafe for $2.50, I figured I'd give this recession-buster another shot. And the verdict.... muy bueno! While I can't speak for the rest of the menu, the breakfast burrito is a tasty way to start the day and the coffee ain't half bad either. Both the coffee and burrito are on the small side, but its real food for the price of fast-food, so no complaints here about the value. Burrito comes with a choice of huevos con jamon, huevos con chorizo or just huevos con salsa, and includes whole pinto beans. Good flavors throughout, but a bit salty. A small bag of decent chips is included. So, if you're on your way to/from BART in the AM, drop in and give El Taco Loco some business. Or, make it an after-hours snack, because like any good breakfast, this one is available all day. ;-)Buen Provecho!
