I have rated this before, and I shall not belabor the point. This flick stinks! I can't believe how the "critics" got the vapors over how "good" this trash was. Gratutitious and senseless gore and violence is the watchword of this tripe. I was going to walk out half way through it in 1994 or 1995 when I saw it in the theater, but I didn't have a ride. Martha refused to let me walk around the corner to Murphy's Strip Bar and Armenian Grill as I had pulled that stunt before on some chick flick that she forced me to see. So I sat there trapped as if I was a butterfly mounted on a display card until this travesty ended. I have never watched a scrap of it since.

I did not see why this movie was considered so fantastic either. we rented it years ago. besides being horribly violent it did not attract any interest in me. would not see it again.

Horrible by any standards;I boycott anything by Tarantino.

Fairly underrated. This one flew under the radar for quite a while when it was in theaters, and now it has more of a cult following than a mainstream appeal.

There was lots of violence, but that's just a reflection of the times it parodies.Excellent direction and acting. Some of the scenes are hilarious, but it's definately black humor...(pun intended)...Not a family film,ok?

I don't think it was overrated, but I do think the bigger Quentin Tarantino fans were to quick to use this movie to give him near legend status.
