Great show, Chris does a great job a getting people to answer questions they are likely to avoid on other shows. He also stays with a topic until he gets the answers! Even if everyone else has moved on, which I appreciate.

I watch HardBall practically every night. I think Chris asks GREAT questions. I just wish he would allow his guests to answer them more fully. Sometimes, he seems rude. Once in a while, he fawns over people he holds up as heros. But on balance, he is fair, tough, and gives us a perspective one doesn't find many other places. I especially like the reporting of David Shuster.

The most disappointing under-achiever on the list. Chris Matthews is a brilliant confrontational interviewer who turns into a whimpering sot when interviewing even the most strident and controversial liberals. He has shown no ability to elevate his craft to the level most Americans expect of a political interviewer. We expect an interviewer to moderate and probe. His thinly veiled political alliances make him a laughingstock, particularly when he is "covering" an election, so desperately does he want EVERY democrat to win and EVERY republican to be subjected to the most humiliating defeat possible. Flick said it best: hardball for republicans, wiffle ball for democrats.

Chris tackles the tough subjects. He presses his point but listens to everyone.

Sometimes worth watching.

He is 100% liberally biased and he can not hide his true colors.
