I guess being old school pitt gave Wanny the job. Very poor year all round with no real direction and a lack of self belief and control from the team. Im a Dolphins fan who started following the pathers when Marino came to Miami. Time gentlemen please and call it a career Dave, (a poor one) at that.

Rough year in 2005 for the Panthers. Wannstedt took over a team that finished really well in '04, and ran them into the ground. Maybe he will be able to bounce back next year, but I don't think Wannstedt will have much success as a college head coach, just like how he failed in the NFL.
