I think he has made his mark with the Bat out of Hell trilogy, however, I really don't think he is as influential as several others who have been overlooked such as Yes...

Paradise by the dashboard lights is one of the best songs ever this guy should have been in long ago. I wish him into the hall of fame!!!

I thought he already was! What more does he have to do? He's my favorite singer ever! I love this guy! Not like that-get your minds out of the gutter! I love his talent. I love his energy! Quite simply, I think he's the best singer ever, like I said. Meat Rules! And for the record, I Really love Neve Campbell-Yes, like that!

When you go behind Meat Loaf, you find Jim Steinman. The one who "Bat Out Of Hell" really belongs to. He just used Meat Loaf's voice as an instrument, so even though Meat Loaf is a great singer, I don't think he's worthy of the hall of fame.

I really liked Bat Out of Hell and Bat Out Of Hell II, because I really thought he could sing where many of the people in the rock industry really scream, not sing. I dont know what the hell happened to his voice now because his latest album sounds like one of the rejects from American Idol. It's sad to see such a talented voice go so bad.
