Being that COUNTRY and WESTERN artists probably do NOT have a place in a ROCK and ROLL Hall of Fame, this guy is as good as they get.

Probably won't happy, but possibly the most important country figure over the last 50 years, certainly in league with Cash and Hagg. Before Miles Davis, anyway.
