 | MDStewart (12) 04/11/2007 | I can't understand why he isn't already in the Hall of Fame! I thought he was!! We're talking of an icon here, a man who influenced all of music. This is a no brainer!!!

 | ajowoods (0) 02/23/2007 | Unlike other inductees that did most of their work outside of rock (Johnny Cash, Brenda Lee, Miles Davis, Bobby Darin), Frank Sinatra has absolutely no connection to rock, not as an "Early Influence" or anything else. He is a pop singer, and one of the greatest at that, but has no place in a rock hall.

 | mjhaag (3) 01/27/2007 | Even though Sinatra was the antithesis of 60's-70's rock attitude, in retrospect we can see that he represented a legitimate form of cool. And he was an influence. He was Jim Morrison's favorite singer, even though Frank kicked out a car radio once after hearing 'Light My Fire' one too many times.

 | evan_s (0) 02/21/2006 | Look at some of the artists that have been inducted into the R&R HoF over the years: Bobby Darin in 1991, Etta James in 1993, Al Green in 1995, Gene Vincent in 1998, "Lovin' Spoonful" and "The Moonglows" in 2000. I can understand these inductees from the perspective that were influential, but then look at Frank Sinatra in the 40's - wasn't he the most influential artist at that point? Wasn't Frank the most hip thing in the 40's and even the 50's until Elvis came along. They do have a category called "Early Influences" with inductees like Nat "King" Cole and Billie Holiday inducted in 2000, I think Frank should go in that category.

 | Habs10 (1) 12/05/2005 | If tehy are putting Miles in and Buddy Guy in, then why not Frank.
He was a Rock Star long before Elvis, and as a founder or what ever, yes.
I think old Blue Eyes hated rock though.
he wasn't as accepting as Bing was,a dn rock essencially knocked Sinatra out of the spot light.

Even thoug he's not rock he had the true FU rock attitude. He did'nt give a hoot what you thought. His well written edgy songs influenced many rock/pop artist. I vote him in!.

 | southparker9 (0) 04/19/2005 | He isn't much of a rocker. He is a treasured icon to a bunch of people i suspect don't listen to rock. There are other in the Hall that never rocked a day in their lives. I can see arguments on both sides, but I say no.

 | sfalconer (22) 03/25/2005 | Sorry alpepper but Frank never Rocked and infact should not be on the list. Its like having a list of the Rat Pack and putting Ozzie on it. It doesn't make a lot of sense does it.
