07/27/2005 | My name is traderboy, and I'm a recovering Pringleholic. It's been four months since I last used, but the urge lies buried deep inside. I know that if I go back, I won't be able to stop. Chipping is bad for my health (I've lost 19 pounds since quitting cold turkey), and hard on my wallet (I had a $6.00/week habit at my lowest point). My friends still snack, and it's hard to be around them when they're offering me a handful out of their bags and cans. I can no longer go down certain aisles in the grocery store because of my addiction, but it's working out for the best. I can now breath without my heart racing, and my skin's beginning to clear up. All I can do now is take my recovery one day at a time (the preceding post is part of my court-ordered therapy).

05/25/2005 | I can easily refuse any kind of chip. I don't eat chips normally, so I'm not addicted to them. Now, put some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in front of me, and I might have to have about 5 or 6!

05/18/2005 | I love most any kind of chip (except doritos) in onion dip, and will eat a whole bag smothered in this horribly fattening stuff. Keep it away; wings are bad enough!
