The best red or green chile burritos to be found. Their specialty is the Special Quesadilla with Pastrami. Therer's always a long line, but it's worth the wait.

 | elagolfer (0) 04/13/2006 | I live in Fair Oaks up by Sacramento. I grew up in Pico Rivera and remember when Mario's Tacos was located in a small shack across the street from Vons Market. I still crave the green burritos and the Special Quesadillas. My brother lives in Whittier and when I visit, Mario's is always a definite destination. The food still tastes the same, even the home made french fries. Whenever my brother eats there, he calls and says, "Guess where I am eating?" God, do I miss that place. I absolutely recommend Mario's, the best burritos in California.

 | Flassh87 (1) 03/17/2006 | I remember when I was 3 years old and lived in Pico Rivera. My family went there every Saturday for dinner. It was our number one choice over any other restuarant in the city. And that coming from a 3 year old is saying something since most 3 year olds wanted either McDonalds or Chucky Cheese. My family and I moved away when I was 4. When I was a teenager I returned to Pico Rivera every summer and every summer I enjoyed returning to Mario's Tacos. Today I return occasionally to visit family and enjoy the fantastic food of Mario's Tacos. From the moment I walk in the door, it brings me back to the days I was 3 years old. From looking at all the former United States Presidents, the swordfish, and all the ceramic pigs. When you get there make sure to order the Special Quesadilla you won't regret it.
