Do you think the victim will psychologically overcome the rape in 1-2 years? NO. This sentence is prevalent, but wrong. Too lenient.

A ridiculously lax sentence, though I realize that it is too often applied. In instances of forcible rape, the prison sentence should be at the very minimum in excess of 10 years.

Sadly many rapists do spend this amount of time in jail for committing this barbaric act. It's absolutely shameful that we allow our courts to let these scums go with such short sentences.
