Hard to come by, but yes a very good quality, and if balanced, will most likely make good decisions, therefore earning respect.

This is a good thing because they will have everything good, but in the right measures eg if the leader was too compassionate, they might not have the courage to discipline or take opportunities but if they are too hard, they will not have compassion which is one of the most important things to have. If they have too much motivation, they will be hastey and haste makes waste, but it they are too restful, they will be lazy and never have any real power. They have every good quality in just the right measure.

There are many items on this weblist which, when added together, make up what I believe are the qualities of a strong leader. The best example that comes to my mind is a service manager that I worked for many years ago at a Ford agency. He made sure that the people underneath him knew what their jobs were and how it was to be performed. He set the boundaries on all sides but then let the people be free to work within those boundaries. He praised work that was well done and reprimanded by expressing disappointment instead of shame, by letting the offender know that he is capable of better performance. He governed by the motto it's not who is wrong, it's what is wrong. He was a strong, fair, and balanced leader and I would have followed him to any dealership to stay under his employ. He was one in a million.
