No way. Humble and mild is weak and a leader cannot appear weak.

Humble is good, but I don't think mild is going to cut it.

This is a five star because that is God's biggest characteristic, plus He (in Matthew and Mark) gives us the difference between a true leader and a Heaven leader (a bad leader.) The Heaven leader likes to give you orders and control you. They also lord it over their followers and rule with pride and oppression and their main purpose is to be on the top of the ladder, no matter who they have to step over. In Matthew 2, King Herod was so proud that he killed all the male babies until he found Jesus, then would kill Him - a tender, mild baby at that time. Herod was threatened by Jesus' power. But a good leader is the opposite to that. They are to be humble and the servent of all. Sometimes, spiritual truths seem strange to us because the world teaches completely the opposite. Maybe why some people may not like this characteristic is because they think that will make a leader weak. The opposite is true because a humble person listens to advice. It is written in proverbs that a country that has many advisors will win the war, but someone who hates correction will be destroyed. Sure a leader may be proud, but they will never learn anything or listen to you if you don't like something they are doing which is unfair. Humility doesn't mean you don't have the authority to boss people around, it means you listen, are careful how you treat people and arn't obsessed with status.
