I guess, but who the hell in America would know about that? The sheep that live here who claim to be 'independent thinkers' do (and think) in a manner that they're told to. . ."the economy's great!" "the weapons are real!" "Hussein really was involved with 9-11!" "there's nothing wrong with the medical care system!" Leaders in America lie because we hold them to no real standards- we deserve everything we get.

How often do we see this, (certainly not now with Bush, Blair etc.)

This is one of the few things that will earn a leader's respect amongst who it is that they are leading.

This is one of the most important things for a leader to have because if they don't know what they are doing, the team won't trust their judgement, and trusting a leader's judgement is very important. Plus the leader may not be able to think as inventively or may do the job a lot slower. Although this is very important and could mean the difference between success and failour, it is still not the most important characteristic.

Obviously important. A leader needs to know getting BJ's in his office from an underling is not a sign of competence, and intelligent enough to know lying about it under oath is illegal.

This one's a no-brainer,like our current so-called leader.

Crucial.
