 | madamedragonlily (5) 05/21/2006 | I love the sound of my husband singing his heart around the house. It fills me with peace and I know that he is happy and comfortable at that given time. All that is bad in the world is on the other side of those doors but for a short time we don't have acknowledge its existence.

 | Molfan (57) 04/28/2005 | I could not pick one. Laughter is always nice, music{lot's of kinds} a content kind of silence when there does not need to be sound. I miss the sounds of a lake in the summer when we used to have a place to go up north.Just to name a few.

 | kamylienne (77) 04/28/2005 | Most gentle, natural sounds, like the wind rushing through leaves, trickling streams, stuff like that. I also like the sound of the front door opening in the morning when my husband comes home from work.

 | Solenoid DH (19) 03/04/2005 | The rhythmic sound of locusts (cecadas) on a dry summer night in Western Kansas, with the breeze blowing through elm trees. When you combine that sound with those diamond-like stars up in a black sky (the air is incredibly clean out there), it might be the nearest thing we have to Heaven on earth.

 | JonTheMan (27) 03/02/2005 | Applause. I find acting to be one of the most uniquely thrilling, yet sometimes terrifying, experiences one can have. Applause is the grand culmination of that experience and a profoundly satisfying thing to hear.
