I'm surprised at her low score. Not the best but she was pretty good

Not very good

Definitely one of my favourite oscar hosts, but as some have pointed out her last venture wasn't a strong one. Whoopi isn't afraid to make digs at Hollywood and doesn't apologise for the bizarre place that it is and is still going to be for years to come. Catering to no-one she doesn't find it difficult to make a few jabs at politics either.

A shot at being cutting edge and significant, by having a black woman host. Unfortunately she just didn't perform that well in her couple of shots.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Chris Rock but not as good as some of the better hosts!

I usually enjoy her performances and totally expected to enjoy this one. But, unfortunately, Whoopie, like Letterman, just didnt quite hit the mark that time. Of course you knew right off the bat that it was going to be another agenda night at the Oscars. But, like other abrasive without being totally sadistic comedians, I think she has the aplomb to carry that off pretty well. It was more like something was missing and she never really got rolling. Whatever it was, it wasnt happening for her that night and, like Dave, I dont think well be seeing her in that venue again.

Don't recall her saying anything funny: At the Oscars, nor anywhere else for that matter.

Can't stand to look at her let alone listen to her mouth.
